I ordered from Northern Chinese Cuisine via Uber Eats last night. I am a regular customer. I had some leftover tofu stir fry, which I ate some for lunch. While I was eating, I notice a large sharp crunch in my mouth. I immediately spat this out and found a large piece of glass in my food. My tongue was split and blood was pouring out of my mouth. Lucky I spat this out! This just wasn't a small piece of glass, but a size of my finger nail. I bled for about 20 minutes and with trips to the doctor. If I did swallow this glass, I would have caused some serious damage, probably could have nearly died. I have been into contact with Uber who are looking into the issue. This is terrible. As a regular customer for a few months now I am shocked. This is a food safety issue with a foreign object in my food. I will never go here again. I would like to make people aware to check your food if you eat here. I have attached photos of the glass in my food, and how much blood came out...
Read moreI’m a Chinese who from Northern China. My partner and I want to try a Chinese restaurant in Alexandria area. We have chosen and tried this restaurant for dinner. I have ordered two dishes with one soup today. One dish I ordered was deep fried pork chunk with green capsicum( 青椒溜肉段) and it’s terrible food, no taste. The other one was Sichuan dry fried green been(干煸四季豆). The beens was small of amount. A winter melon with lamb and plastic noodles soup(冬瓜羊肉粉丝汤). There was almost just water with a few small pieces of lamb sliced meats floating on the top and 6 small pieces of winter melons and very very little quantity thin noodles in the bowl. I been to many Chinese restaurants such as Jilin Family in Chatswood; The Northeast Restaurant ( Da Dongbei) in Kingsford. The foods there were tasty and all looking great. But This restaurant is a disgusting place, dirty untidy🤮🤮🤮. I will never...
Read moreI don't really recommend this restaurant. First of all, this restaurant claims to be a Northeast China restaurant, but the portions are small. At least from the perspective of a Northeast China restaurant, this restaurant is not cost-effective. Secondly, the dishes made by this restaurant are very average, whether it is seasoning or cooking techniques. In particular, don't try to order their dishes containing eggs, because there are always eggshells in the eggs. I could eat eggshells in every bite of my egg fried rice, which made me very angry. Until the end, I ate an eggshell the size of a fingernail. I couldn't help but go to the store to argue, but the chef cursed me in dissatisfaction. This is a restaurant that I don't...
