I never give bad reviews but had breakfast there this morning for the first time and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! Firstly when we ordered our food the large, bald guy with lovely camo Nike trainers (guessing a manager/business owner) served us. He did not offer a smile, let alone a drink with our order. Ordered the big breakfast and pancakes and he did not ask the obvious questions e.g. how we wanted our eggs or what sauce I wanted on the pancakes from the options available or if we wanted a drink with the order. Being first time customers, a bit of guidance would've been nice. Such a pity because the menu and food was lovely. The young guy that came from the kitchen to give us our food was by far the most professional staff member there. He was the only one that noticed we had no cutlery or water when he brought us our food and got us some, with a smile. Thank you. My main problem however was that the male that served us at the counter and one of the female staff members had a full on argument behind the counter and the whole cafe could hear everything!! (..including the male swearing). The female ended up in tears and still had to serve customers clearly upset. It was obviously a stressful morning for them however this made myself, my partner and other customers feel very uncomfortable. So unprofessional. To finalise, we walked past two staff members when we were leaving the cafe and nobody even acknowledged that we were going. Coming from someone with experience working in hospitality and customer service, a simple hello, goodbye and a smile goes a long way. Came with my wife to Nutrition Station Bondi on a Saturday morning. We were greeted by a 1/3 full cafe and were able to order quite quickly. Immediately however it was evident that there was something wrong. The lady at the counter could barely speak English and was stumbling on the order as we were placing it. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, however the lady at the counter gave me my meal and then gave my wifeâs meal to someone else... and then took the table number... I had to go back up to the counter and ask for my wifeâs meal to be made once more. It took another 20 minutes for her food to arrive, so she watched me eat and then I watched her eat.
During our time in the cafe we noticed that the same lady was doing the same mistakes as she did for us. Giving people the wrong food, handing out only one dish to a couple and taking the table number away. We saw two people exchange food because she gave a dish to the wrong table. Extremely embarrassing both for the cafe and for the customers.
Overall the cafe is decent, the interior could definitely be better but the food taste is good. The cafe is definitely let down by the customer service, the other reviews that speak about this are correct.
Come to this cafe for a takeaway, donât eat in. If you are looking for decent customer service, look elsewhere. May come back to this cafe...

Reason for the average review is that my order was messed in the beginning. I ordered two drinks (1 juice and 1 smooth) but was only provided the one drink. I had to re-order again for the 2nd drink which is a bit frustrating but absolutely fine, as mistakes happen. I asked for a mango smoothie. However your staff didn't explain to me that they don't have mango smoothie available, but instead just opted to make me a vanilla protein smoothie with small mango parts inside. My first drink also I had requested no carrots due to my partner's severe allergies, but I had a taste and believe that the first order was also messed up and your staff put carrots inside. I didn't want to risk it so threw away both drinks. Therefore wasn't satisfied or happy with the order. I won't rate this low, just average but slightly disappointed as given the high cost of the drinks and patience provided, I left feeling unsatisfied and no value received out of the money I spent, which could've been avoided with some more attention to detail or re-confirming with customer, as I did the best in my ability and from my end to re-emphasis if there were a mango smoothie and to avoid carrots blended in the juice. I'll keep optimistic and if I am in the area hope to come back next time and try something else to give a second chance as I haven't tried...
