BEWARE: ARROGANT & RUDE STAFF. They do not value customers and do not want your business! It was our 3rd or 4th visit to this restaurant. Whilst the meal sizes have shrunk over the months, the food was still good. However, this time we have come across extremely rude and arrogant service. My child didn't finish his meal and asked for a small plastic container. The lady at the counter asked that we pay $1 (!) for a flimsy, cheap non-reusable small plastic container (which is worth no more than 10 cents). I paid for our dinner over $60 by cash and only had 50 cents coin left in my wallet. So I offered to pay 50 cents but the lady didn't accept it. I reminded to the lady that we were regular customers and that we have already spent over $200 at their restaurant. She said that she remembers us but it means nothing and that she won't give us the container unless we pay her no less than $1. I told her that our child would want to finish his meal later, but the lady was very arrogant and let us know that she didn't care. We will never come back to this restaurant and won't recommend...
Read moreI used to be satisfied with this Thai restaurant until my most recent visit. I waited over 20minutes for my simple chicken stir fry dish. I watched people who came well after me eat and finish before me. Every time I asked the lady about my food, she was so abrupt and rude (the typical service you get at those cheap asian places), and said my table number didn’t indicate the chronology. I told her I understood this but explained as above regarding people who came after me, left before me. She was so rude and said the chef was “new” and it was his first day. I didn’t even get a “sorry” when we both knew full well they had forgotten my order - so much for customer service, especially for a customer who comes extremely regularly! Then when my food eventually came, it was half the portion size as usual and half of what everyone else was getting who also ordered a similar dish. Still no apology or acknowledgement of some sort. After this experience, I will not go back - all it takes is a simple “so sorry” instead of their defensive,...
Read moreLiterally the best Thai food in Bondi and Bondi Junction. Lived in the area for 4+ years, tried nearly all the spots, nothing comes close
These guys cook with a cleaner oil that they replace more frequently between orders vs. using the same batch of oil all day, for multiple days in a row, like some of the other restaurants (if you care about seed oils and not repeatedly reheating oil etc, this matters)
The lunch special is the best deal in town for any kind of food, especially with meat and large proportions, for around $11-13 depending on what you get
They can spice it up..
Some favorites are the Pad Thai (soooo good!!!! Just like Thailand) Cashew nut chicken Panning curry (most of their curries come out piping hot which is ideal!) Pad See Ew
They do a good job stir frying the tofu so its a bit crispy if you like vegetarian options
Only knack is that they don’t always have quality dessert.. often run out of mango...
