So disappointing. I visited for lunch with a friend as I'd had very good Vietnamese food here under the previosu owners (Me Pho). It was busy so I assumed still good. The thermos of tea on the tabel when you arrive is a nice touch. We order fresh rice paper rolls, banh xeo and salt & peper tofu with mini green mango salad. The rolls were bursting with noodles and not much else. The banh xeo was oily, not crisp and very full of bean sprouts and not much else. The salt and pepper tofu also oily and the oil smelled old/stale. The green mango salad lacked flavour but all of the abundant greens served with the dishes did look fresh and excellent. After tasting the banh xeo we agreed we weren't going to eat anymore. But I thought I'd take the greens away rather than waste them, as they were very good quality. We waited about 10 minutes in the upstairs dining room for a staff memeber so we could get a takeaway container - but no one appeared. So we gave up, paid and left - leaving three-quarters of our lunch on the table untouched. Very disappointing....

Then I asked another staff member to bring the full plate (which should typically include basil, sprouts, fresh chili, and lime or lemon). What came next was just some bean sprouts on a separate plate, and we never received any lime or chili. Not a huge issue, but it felt like they didn’t quite understand what I was asking for. The environment was moderate, clean but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, not a bad spot, but there’s definitely room for improvement in seasoning and...

the pho. What can I say about the pho. That’s probably the worst pho I have EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. ( I eat pho twice a week in the states). it was so salty and tasted so bad this was the first time in my life returning the food at a restaurant ever. I’m the type if it’s okay I will eat it. But man tasted like salt with noodles.
I’m giving the service a high because he wanted to make it up and make us a new batch. But it...
