OG Banh Mi — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently bought their 12 dollar crispy pork banh mi roll. Although the portion is large and satisfactory the crispy skin was not at all crispy. When I first bit into it, I almost broke a tooth. The skin was thick and rock hard. Even when I tried to chew it throughly, it felt like I was going to chip something. This was not just for one piece of meat but for all the skin. Firstly they don’t seem to know their set price. They advised iced coffee for $4 on the flyer outside but they still tried to charge me $6.5. They corrected this when I mentioned the flyer though. Secondly they took 15min, yes right 15 min to make a drink. If you are in a morning rush, don’t go here.

The staff were friendly, food choices were great. But I'm not sure how the food was prepared. The OG bahn mi was the first meal of my day. Tasted good though it feels like I was eating 70% fat and 30% meat and a whole load of salt, and this is coming from someone who loves her fatty foods & salt. Now I'm in bed/toilet with food poisoning. Still have 3 days left of my holiday in Sydney T.T In so much pain...
