Tucked inside Central Station, Eternity Bar & Grill is an unexpected gem that delivers way beyond what you'd expect from a station-side venue. Whether youâre a commuter, tourist, or local just passing through, this spot is an absolute must-visit.
From the moment I stepped in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Their service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between laid-back and stylish, with plenty of comfortable seating and a clean, modern interior that offers a pleasant escape from the stationâs hustle and bustle.
The menu is a solid mix of pub classics and elevated fare. I had the steak with mash and peppercorn sauceâperfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. My companion enjoyed their crispy schnitzel, which came out golden and generously portioned. Their beer selection is impressive too, with a mix of local craft brews and classic favorites on tap. Cocktails were surprisingly well done, especially the espresso martini.
Pricing is fair, especially given the quality and central location. It's clear the team takes pride in both the kitchen and the bar. I also appreciated how quickly meals came outâideal if you're catching a train but still want a proper meal.
Eternity Bar & Grill isnât just a convenienceâitâs a destination in its own right. Iâll definitely be coming back, whether for a quick drink or a relaxed dinner before heading home. Highly...
Read moreunfortunately this place deserves less than 1 star but there is no option for that. we had walked in to get some meals and drinks before going on our long train journey. no hello from any staff, no signs on whether to wait to be seated and there are no menus on tables so you have to go up and grab one from the bar. however once we had decided what we wanted my younger brother went to line up to order and the woman behind the coffee machine screamed at him loud enough for me to hear on the other side of the room. she was angry that we had taken a menu to our table? she was yelling that âthat ladyâ (me, a brown woman) knew where the menu belonged. we had been there 2 minutes, and immediately left. as we walked out she tried to stop us and apologise (admitting she knew she was wrong) however she would not tell us her name. please be warned if you decide to dine here, there are repercussions to looking at the menu for a few minutes if you happen to look like me. i hope that this place retrains staff on how to deal with their emotions in front of customers and/or considers printing more menus as it seems they only have...
Read moreIâve been coming here for 10 years and OMG this new management need to really take a look at a few things. They have taped up all the sockets so people canât charge their mobile phones or laptops, when I asked them about this their reply âcost of livingâ. $19 for a glass of red wine đđđ I paid it but never again. I look around and the place is devoid of all atmosphere, staff donât care and people are treated like a transaction. One lady refused to pay $13 for a glass of champagne and she was told âok go somewhere elseâ. If you are the owners reading this take your tape off the sockets and let the business community once again charge phones and laptops and conduct meetings at your venues. That once resulted in $$$$. Reduce your ridiculous cost of a glass of wine and train your staff to smile and respect that customers really are important. The rest is up to you. Oh and when itâs time to close donât treat your guests like second class citizens. I witnessed one of your staff literally tell a group of 5 âwe are closing shortly youâll have to...
