Oliver Brown — Restaurant in Sydney

I've been to Oliver browns in Ryde, Guilford and Burwood. Let me tell you, Merrylands is the BEST place to get an ice mocha. I only have coffee once a week, and it is simply the most amazing thing I've tasted in a long time.

Its a good mix of chocolate and mocha and its bloody cold! the way its supposed to be...you know with the word 'ice' in the name. The flavors that swirl in your mouth makes it feel like they were made by god himself! It can turn enemies into friends, make Megatron the errors of his ways! and turn Snape happy!

I love them so much I will travel across the country just to get it.

=UPDATE= 1st July 2024 I tend to visit a coffee place after several months of not visiting just to see if the flavor holds up. Happy to say that the way they make their ice mochas are consistent. I wish I could say they must've made some kind of dark sacrifice, giving them forbidden knowledge to make mochas that taste this good. But no, its the staff, they're simply fantastic and can make them that well. They fill up the takeaway cup as much as they can. I've tried other places and they fill it to where the lid starts, but not here, they overflow and give you a lil more for your buck.

I've even visited them and ate in having their mochas and tiramisu's while doing some work and they're awesome.

What would I change? If I had to be very very picky, some of their chairs and tables are rocky and aren't completely flat. Maybe update their tiramisu, I usually go to Kurtosh for them, but merrylands Oliver Brown is good as well but could...

If I can give a zero I would! I have been calling head office to get a complaint sorted and they said that the owner will contact me… yet to occur! I’m going to filing a legal claim and have already contacted Consumer Affairs and the ACCC against OB for the abuse I endured in the store from the senior staff member . I was left shocked and shaking after that situation. It’s absolutely disgusting! That kind of behaviour and customer service shouldn’t be tolerated… especially when I truly done nothing wrong. I endured racism, verbal harassment and utter disrespect! Head office staff stated they can’t handle the situation as the owner of this franchise stated he will handle it… Waiting for something to occur! Please do not waste your money at a store that doesn’t value returning customers, are racist and the quality is significantly inferior than the other OBs At least you aren’t treated as a piece of garbage...

The place invite you in.... It looks modern clean and that it...probably the worst Oliver brown l have been in. We ordered coffee and tea; and they brought the cups with no plates and no spoon. The smash avocado sandwich looks good in the menu picture but, when they brought the avocado it wasn’t fresh at all was brown and over ripe. My friend vegetarian breakfast even came with pieces of egg shell. The caramelised onion Looks like worms not fresh at all. It seems everything is in containers and they don’t prepare fresh food. It is a shame as it could be a good place As there not good coffee shops in the area Besides the typical Lebanese pizza...
