Should not be called Lebanese bakehouse as the food tastes no where near Lebanese cuisine. Was absolutely disgusted by the service I received today, the lady at the front was chewing gum and blowing bubbles whilst preparing the food, I could see her saliva going onto the food that was prepared for an uber delivery. She had no customer service, no hair net and her hair was flicking around in a ponytail. To add to all of this the food was extremely oily and I ended up throwing both of the “manhoush” I bought in the bin after taking 2 very disgusting bites which has resulted in me having bad stomach pain for the rest of the day. Do not go here if you want to eat authentic Lebanese food, should...
Read moreDisappointed. Coming from the middle east myself, the food hardly did any justice to the real deal. Zaatar bread lacked balance in flavour, hardly any sumac or olive oil in it. Kibbeh was cold in the middle, obviously microwaved and too small in size for the price. Oven-Roasted chicken wrap not assembled with thought, became immediately soggy. Tabbouleh again bland, lacked zest. Chips inside the wrap looked boiled potato, absolutely white with no skin, let alone fresh crisp. To top this all off, service was quite slow, and there was no apology for going well over the estimated wait time given. Save your money and head to the West for fresh and authentic...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place as it’s one of the only places close to home which has a Lebanese bakery menu. I accepted the overpriced menu, it is Mosman after all. I bought a Zaatar with halloumi and a Zaatar bread. I can only comment on the Zaatar with halloumi (as I threw the other one in the bin). It was extremely oily, the bread was soggy as it was soaked in oil - not the well toasted or cooked base I was expecting like most other Zaatar’s and the Zaatar itself was pretty tasteless. I then shared my experience with other friends who had been there and they said their experience was the same. Wish I checked before...
