Oporto - Norwest — Restaurant in Sydney

To the Respected Owner of Oporto Norwest market town,

I have been working in this area as a delivery driver since 3 years now. Most mornings, we get order from Oporto via Ubereats or DoorDash starting from 9:30am. When we come to the store, employees working there always says the order is not ready and it will take around 30 to 40 minutes.

I would request you to change you store hours on every app to 10:30am. Because none of guys come to the store and prepare for the days so that they can start taking orders from 9:30.

As a delivery driver, we don’t get paid to wait for the order. And it’s not only happening with me, most of the drivers go through this everyday. It just doesn’t make sense to open the store virtually on all the platforms when you fryers are not even on. I have seen the guys come to store at 9:45am sometimes.

Please take this issue...

Staff were not helpful at all. I was in Sydney for Hillsong conference, and one of our food discounts were $2 regular chips. I showed both this lady, and man, the discount on the app, then that said that they can’t do it and must be done on the conference app. I don’t think they can see that it says to show the delegate armband and no promo code or anything. Then the man decided just to give me a 10% discount, because apparently that’s what his manager asked him to do. I didn’t accept it because that doesn’t honour my coupon for Hillsong conference. The man also started to get a bit argumentative so I just gave up. This man (and the lady) was working at 4:30pm on Wednesday the 9th of July. Service isn’t even 1% good so not coming back to...

Poor service and even poorer attitude by the owner/manager (the bearded man). I have witnessed him hiding stale old chips and mixing them with the fresh ones. I fell for this twice in the past. Today I told him about this whilst putting in my order and requested everything be made fresh. He yelled to the kitchen staff "make this one fresh". He himself was looking after the chips and fried products. When giving the bag to me he said it's all fresh. When we started eating we came to realise our chips were again mixed with stale chips!! the popcorn chicken was cold and the chicken strips were all burnt. We will not be returning here again.
