ATTENTION PLEASE READ...THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN FRIENDLY. On the 18th of May 2019 my partner and I ordered 2 x vegetarian pad see ews for take away. I picked them up asked are they sure the meals are vegetarian which the staff confirmed they were. I also physically took the lid off and checked both meals all I could see was a lot of vegetables on top and some noodles underneath. I took them home. I started eating, it was the worst pad see ew I have ever had. It was like eating barely cooked vegetables (I had a large unchopped piece of onion in mine) with a very small portion of noodles at the bottom. My partner ate some noodles and what looked like egg she showed me and said ,"what do you think this is it tastes very strange". We discovered that we had just eaten chicken (my partner has been a vegetarian for over 16 years) although this was not a mix up as there were no large solid chicken pieces just smaller pieces not normal for a vegetarian or chicken pad see ew and of the lowest quality for price. We stopped immediately and took what was left of our trash pad see ew to the restaurant to report it. The staff could not tell us who the manager was they apparently all were. We explained the situation they offered no solution an extremely passive sorry as if they forgot to give us cutlery. There was no explanation why this happened it was not a mix up it was just purely utter lack of commitment to sperating meat and vegetables. This isn't just a complaint from a vegetarian perspective. If someone was expecting a chicken pad see ee it would not have been at the standard. There was no explanation from the staff they gave us some money back for the order and that was it. They didn't really care about the mistake made or sought to fix it. So becareful if you eat there as I do not trust this restaurant or its staff if I could give a rating of 0 stars I would. I hope the non existent management and the staff are changed out or that this retsaurant closes down. We will never eat there again and we will look at seeking food inspector prespectives. To the staff, this is not good business and you need to seriously fix things for other customers sake. I hope your restaurant gets replaced.
This will not be my last on...
Read moreCan I give them - - - - - - -- - ---------------------stars? How did these people even get a license to run a restaurant when they even don't know how to speak to and behave with customers. These people people need serious training. They get paid because people like me go and spend to eat there. $275 in 2 hrs. That's what runs their households and pays their bills. I am a bit rude up here but that's what i got from the manager/owner. I have never ever been rude to anybody but this manager doesn't have any manners to talk to customers. The manager was dancing when I am trying to tell her that her staff (not all staff)was rude. I have never seen a person in hospitality business who does not know how to deal with a customer especially when I am politely trying to say that some of your staff has been rude. Instead i get told that if you didn't like, don't come here again. Its been a busy day and we're short of staff. I said, that not an excuse to be rude and that's not the way the manager/owner should speak to me as a customer. She literally pushed me out saying that its 9.30 and the restaurant is closed. I was very polite until this time with her but i did lose my mind given her behaviour and the way she spoke.
I only went there to have good food as I had a friend visiting from overseas, and my local Thai restaurant was closed.
I would generally not mention this as mistakes do happen but given this situation I need to mention this. When we went to settle the bill, it was overcharged by $100 with few items being doubled up. We told the staff and then she adjusted the bill. How do you charge $100 extra on a $250 bill.
I WISH these people lose their customers, lose their jobs, the business and learn a lesson in life. You need to know how to deal with customers who pay for their...

I never thought I’d be writing this, but after years of being a loyal and regular customer, I can no longer recommend Thai Seed to anyone. In fact, I’ll be telling my friends and family to stay away.
For years, this was our go-to spot — great food, warm service, and a place that felt like a second home. But in the past couple of months, everything has changed. The food quality has noticeably declined, and even worse, the service has taken a serious turn for the worse.
The staff now carry an attitude like they’re doing you a favour just by serving you. It feels like customer care is no longer a priority — and instead of hospitality, there’s arrogance.
The new manager was the final straw. She spoke to us as if we were her staff, not valued customers. There was no respect, no warmth, and certainly no understanding of how to treat people who’ve supported this business for years.
It’s incredibly disappointing to walk away from a restaurant we once loved so much, but the experience is simply not worth it anymore. Thankfully, there are many Thai restaurants out there that still value their customers and know how to deliver both great food and respectful service.
Thai Seed has lost more than just one customer — they’ve lost a loyal supporter. I hope they take this seriously and remember that in hospitality, attitude...
