Lets cut to the chase. This place is cozy and calm, with a nice garden entry and outdoor seating. I was greeted on arrival by Tori, and that greeting was wholesome. Yes, the place looks understaffed but it actually helped me have a better experience in a way. In fact, every table is attended by a staff member atleast twice to make sure everything is going well. If at all any, the wait time here felt better than that at other places. Let me tell you why. This is a place where you come with your family and spend time talking while waiting, and while having food. This is a place where you come with your girlfriend on a weekend morning and have a lovely conversation that makes your relationship more beautiful. Some people might say that the service is slow. To be honest, it’s not slow and one reason could be that they’ve learnt from past feedback. My order arrived in 15 minutes. I was given my drink first, my Garlic bread next and my main dish a while after. They made sure my table had something to eat/drink. I see the wait time as the time you will spend with your loved ones while enjoying a decent instrumental music on mid-low volume in the background, while waiting for fresh and delicious food that’s worth the wait. This is not a fast food centre. They cleaned the tables straight away when customers leave, even though the place is not very busy. I’ve seen lots of other places where they leave the plates on the table for hours. Overall, if you want to set your mood right, if you want to settle small misunderstandings with your close ones or just want to get some relief from the work- life stress, I would personally recommend this place. P.S: NO. I AM NOT BEING PAID FOR THIS REVIEW.

Such a lovely family-owned restaurant with both Turkish and Italian cuisines. I highly recommend visiting for wholesome and delicious dishes. They make everything from scratch including pasta and baklava which is fantastic! ⠀ I loved the ambience here. We visited on a Jazz night so our spectacular dinner was accompanied with wonderful music. ⠀ 🥖Mezze ($30) - 4 dips served with bread⠀⠀ 🥘Mixed seafood casserole ($22)⠀⠀ 🍆Lamb Babaganush ($27)⠀⠀ 🍝Ravioli Scallops ($24)⠀⠀ 🥩Lamb and Adana kebab ($29)⠀⠀ 🧀Vegetarian Supreme Pide ($19)⠀ 🍫 Chocolate Tortino ($16)⠀ 💚 Baklava ($6)⠀ 💛 Kunefe ($15) ⠀ The star of the show for me was the Adana, it was some of best lamb I've ever had because it was so juicy, tender and easy to cut through! I also enjoyed the ravioli, it was impressively smooth, soft and creamy.⠀ ⠀ Even though we were so full, we couldn't stop snacking on the bread and dips because it was just so yummy! The chocolate lava cake oozed so beautifully and almost fell off the plate! It was so satisfying. I was the most excited to try the baklava and it definitely satisfied my cravings. The pastry was incredibly flakey, not too sweet and I loved the pistachio flavour.⠀ ⠀ This was my first time trying kunefe and I was so impressed. It was the sweetest dish with a hint of cheesiness and very crunchy.

Empty on arrival, 1 staff member eventually approached us once seated to get drink order, the other staff member just sat on their backside and didn't move. Took 10 mins to get coffee order, average coffee. Had also ordered 2 Bloody Mary's, took 20mins as waitress broke one glass had to start again, they were unpalatable, thick homemade passata with onions, NOT Tomato juice, was taken away. Another 20 mins for meals to be served, eggs overcooked, fritters were soggy hardly any corn it them, Turkish bread not toasted or buttered. Scrambled eggs overdone and watery, ok flavour. Food served cold. Waitress was stressed out, she had advised us she should have told us not to order Bloody marys she also didn't know how to make Turkish Tea. Paid $70.00 what a waste of money. Terrible Experience, won't be back.

Just did not enjoy anything really. Ordered a chai latte, spaghetti bolognese & eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Chai latte was okay but just warm. After a 40min wait, I was told there was no more salmon, I was offered to have something else instead so I got some hash brown as I did not want any meat. The waitress told me I wouldn't be charged full price as I wasn't getting what I ordered + salmon is pricey so if no salmon it would be less expensive. After some more waiting - total wait was one hour - we finally got our food. My poached eggs were so overcooked, bland & cold. Bread was kind of soggy. Leaves on the side didn't look fresh. Hash brown was nice. My partner's spaghetti bolognese was hot but there was barely any meat in the sauce, I had a taste & would call it a tomato relish, not a bolognese. We were charged full price in the end (+ 10% surcharge for public holiday), I asked why I was paying full price after being told it wouldn't be the case & was told by a different waiter than the one who promised the discount that because I got hash brown instead of the salmon it would be full price, but that I was welcome to go discuss with his superior if I wasn't happy. At this stage we weren't expecting anything to go any better & were late somewhere (as we waited ages for the food) so we didn't bother & left. I don't often leave reviews but it was just particularly bad, waiting this long to be getting in the end something that isn't objectively good & isn't even what you ordered in the first place + being promised a discount to be charged full price afterwards isn't nice. Also about three tables were served before us even though they arrived after us. Won't be...

Unfortunately the only positive thing about our experience eating at this resturant was the friendly staff and their smiles. You may think this is a great point, and it usually would be, but for the abysmal and clumsy service they offered.

On arrival, I asked if I could BYO, waiter said yes and went off to collect some glasses - never returned. Waited for ages, not a soul came by so I had to get up and request one from the counter (I might add here that I'm currently on crutches due to a broken leg).

Once we ordered, we waited. And we waited... In the meantime we decided to order a cocktail. The food FINALLY came out, nearly an hour later, followed by the drinks, which the waiter promptly tipped all over my friend's dinner and lap. I know it was an accident, and I wouldn't normally complain - if they rectified the situation or suitably compensated us for our discomfort. I had expected at least the price of that drink he spilt over my friend to be waived. Nope, all we got was a couple of dollars knocked off the substantial bill. Not to mention that the second meal they brought out for my friend was clearly rushed, and tasted pretty average compared to the dish they ruined. Still charged full price.

Disgusting, slow service, poor food, despite the fact that the resturant was...
