Like veritable children in a sweet shop, when visiting San Churro our eyes glazed over with hungry sugar-craving delight. When gazing upon the menu, the chocolates on display and the gelato in the freezer making a choice seemed almost impossible. We had plenty of time to kill prior to a movie-date and the sun was shining so we were already in a good mood. The lady serving was exceptionally friendly and helped us with our desire to indulge, when we went for a “create your own sundae” option. The number of possibilities was staggering! Following a theme guided us to a pleasing result; chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. A trio of chocolate ice creams (white, dark and milk) was then bedecked by brownie, chocolate-coated pretzel, fudge sauce and flakes. I was actually worried it would be too much for us to bite off, but as it happened it was the perfect sized treat to be shared by the two of us. We are very keen to return with friends to share a dessert platter as there seem to be multiple options for friends to enjoy sweet times here.

This is the 3rd San Churro branch we’ve been to and this is our favourite one so far! Churros is crunchy and light and not too sweet at all, even with the chocolate dip. Ordered the Strawberry Shake which I loved too as it’s not overly sweet. The San Churro Cake and Death by Chocolate cake slices are always a hit - always craving these ones! Absolutely adore the cozy ambience and how clean the place is. Best of all, the service was beyond excellent! Special shoutout to the lovely lady with the blue hair that assisted us (we forgot to ask her name)! She was so warm and friendly! She was so sweet that when she saw that the extra strawberry that I ordered was for my little girl, she gave us some extra plate and knife and a little fork. We’ll definitely come back again!

A warm and cosy place to settle in for some indulgent drinks or desserts with friendly, casual service. There is a range of cakes on display & all look tempting. The hot chocolate is a must, rich & comforting. The build your own ice cream cones are super cute & mini sized so great for kids or a small treat. The macaron sandwich tower is so cool to look at and tastes sweet & light. The churros comes out hot and is super crispy and you can choose which chocolate you want to accompany it (white, milk or dark). The death by chocolate cake is dense and rich and very chocolatey and very satisfying.

Amazing food and great service! The churros are fresh and the melted chocolate is finger licking good! The ratio of cinnamon is not overpowering and all in all the flavours are balanced very well. I would’ve given 5 stars, however, I was very very disappointed that their unidays discount sign was hidden - I ended up paying full price when I could have gotten it for a much lower price had they actually displayed the unidays sign for people to see. I found this to be quite deceptive. By the time I had paid it was too late, unfortunately.

The churros are good, the variety of chocolate sauces is good too and cater for vegans. Coffee is nice and cold shakes too. The reason they lose a star is because every time I go some of the staff are not knowledgeable and every time I have been the venue is not so clean. Tables should always be cleaned and wiped down after a customer leaves, in preparation for the next customer. Updating my review 2/2/2023 enjoying the improved service and cleanliness, favourite for this summer had been the vegan sundae with churros 👍🏼👍🏼

The lady at the cash register with glasses need to smiles more I think … I understand that the management will definitely do things to improve and coach this staff and I am happy about that. Sorry that I gave you 2 stars but now made it to 3 and at my next visit hope to change it to 5. Glebe has such a great vibe, chill easy going and no matter how busy it is everyone deserve the basics of “ Hi, how can I help you ? “ with a smile which can relax the busy atmosphere. Otherwise the food great Cheers
