Like veritable children in a sweet shop, when visiting San Churro our eyes glazed over with hungry sugar-craving delight. When gazing upon the menu, the chocolates on display and the gelato in the freezer making a choice seemed almost impossible. We had plenty of time to kill prior to a movie-date and the sun was shining so we were already in a good mood. The lady serving was exceptionally friendly and helped us with our desire to indulge, when we went for a “create your own sundae” option. The number of possibilities was staggering! Following a theme guided us to a pleasing result; chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. A trio of chocolate ice creams (white, dark and milk) was then bedecked by brownie, chocolate-coated pretzel, fudge sauce and flakes. I was actually worried it would be too much for us to bite off, but as it happened it was the perfect sized treat to be shared by the two of us. We are very keen to return with friends to share a dessert platter as there seem to be multiple options for friends to enjoy sweet times here.

My Go-To Sweet Escape! This cosy little gem in Glebe has quickly become my favourite San Churro outlet and for all the right reasons! The staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, always serving with a warm smile and making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. One thing that really stands out is the exceptional cleanliness of the place. Every table, corner, and counter is spotless a rare find these days! The food is consistently fresh, from the perfectly crisp churros to their delicious snacks. Nothing ever tastes pre-made or stale, which makes every visit feel special. My absolute favourites? The Biscoff Frappe rich, creamy, and full of flavour and the Snack Pack, which is just the right combo of sweet indulgence and comfort. Compared to other outlets, San Churro Glebe has that extra touch of charm and care. It’s my sweet little hideaway whenever I need a treat. Highly recommended! 🍫✨

We ordered an iced chocolate, but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. As you can see in the picture ( I tried to pick them out and that wasn’t even all of it), there were so many crushed ice cubes that it was almost impossible to drink. The ice pieces were small enough to get through the straw but still big enough that you had to chew them. This completely watered down the chocolate, making it neither enjoyable nor really drinkable. On top of that, the service was chaotic. There was only one waiter managing the entire place, and he was clearly overwhelmed. He brought us ice cream in a tiny bowl without a saucer, making a mess all over the table. When he tried to clean it up, he ended up spilling some of it onto our backpack. The churros and ice cream tasted good, but overall, it was a bad experience that we wouldn’t recommend.

Had fantastic food at the Glebe San Churro this evening. The churros and volcano cake were both perfectly served and cooked. Which is why it was so disappointing to have staff pushing my group out the door. I understand that there are many people on a Saturday evening looking to find a seat. However, there were 6 seperate instances in the 25 minutes we were seated in the cafe where staff were asked by myself and my group to please leave the plates on the table as we were not finished. They made us feel extremely uncomfortable and pushed to pack up and move on. Another couple who were seated at a table across from my group even left prematurely with food still on their plates as they were taken away by staff. Again I understand that staff are under the pump on a Saturday evening but I think it is important that customers are encouraged to enjoy their meals at their own pace. As there were multiple staff doing this I think management needs to ensure they aren’t encouraging staff to move customers on. Financial gain should not supersede customer satisfaction...

My family and I have been here many times because it's a great place to have dessert.

The staff are always friendly and smiling. The service is very quick. The quality of the desserts, such as the churros, cakes especially the sticky date pudding, and the croffles are always delicious.

The hot drinks are always served with the correct temperature even during the cold season.

The milkshakes taste very good, I highly recommend the cookies and cream. The staff are also kind to always bring out a bottle of water with glasses.

And when we order too much, the staff are very nice with providing takeaway containers so we can enjoy the desserts at home. They never forget as they come to visit you at your table to greet.

The table setting is perfect and the atmosphere is exciting as there is music playing in the background.

The location is convenient and there is enough street parking around the area especially in the evening.

Thank you again to the Glebe San Churro's team for making it a pleasant experience. We look forward to...
