A Japanese Yakiniku restaurant in Glebe, offering a number of variety of food and beverages. I came here on the weekend with a group of 4 people. We ordered the all you can eat premium buffet option, however the 90 minutes dining limited (and 60 mins ordering) felt a rushed. We weren't able to fully enjoy the food, nor was there an option to stay back and enjoy drinks. When cooking, the fire wasnt well distributed - even though we turned it up. This meant that the food on the side wasnt cooked quickly enough. Sometimes food ordered from other tables, also came to our table. I would recommend the beef more than the seafood - as the unagi didnt taste that fresh. The staff though were very friendly . Overall, it's not too bad and it's good to have an option in Glene. If you want to catch up with friend, it would probably be best if you order the a la carte menu.

We have been here several times. Last time we came as a group of 8 on 3 May 2025, but the experience was disappointing. The clock started ticking before everyone even arrived, which felt unfair. We ordered many dishes, but the portions were much smaller than expected. For example, we ordered 6 servings but only maybe 3-4 arrived. We hesitated to order more in case the rest came later — but they never did. The time shown on the screen includes eating time, not just ordering time, which is misleading. The Saturday surcharge is also very high, so keep that in mind. We had someone with a birthday discount, which helped a little, but overall it still wasn’t worth it. Missing servings and unclear timing made the whole experience frustrating and disappointing.

This yakiniku restaurant is definitely worth trying. The food was tasty, fresh, and of high quality, with a diverse menu and many great promotions. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. However, one small concern—while the service was generally excellent, one of the staff members, a petite lady with black hair, appeared upset when I asked her to check on our dessert order after waiting for 15 minutes. It would have been more considerate if the request for a Google review had been made before we began eating, rather than in the middle of our meal, which slightly affected our appetite. Despite this, overall, this has become one of my new favorite places. I look forward to visiting again.

One of the worst dining experiences we've had, phenomenally poor. My wife is still furious and I'm just stunned. Yesterday we booked for 17:30 after being told there was an early bird special: 10% off your bill if arriving between 17:00 and 17:30. Keen to try the place and not wanting to miss the deal we arrived at 17:10 today at which point we were told we were on the clock. We asked if we could order drinks and some starters a directly i.e. from the wait staff but were told that the only way to order anything was via the QR code on a docket given a couple of minutes after being seated. Tick tock. We went the gourmet (top tier) option hoping to experience the best that was on offer. I'm not going to dwell on the quality but overall it was mediocre and that is being generous. Service was order via an app and stuff turned up, dishes were cleared, nothing too challenging or engaging either. FYI ordering food stops cuts off at the hour mark as expected. As it happens that also includes drinks, so forget trying to order a glass of wine or whatever to accompany your final supposed half hour of dining. What really killed the evening was being told at 18:20 they want us to leave as they needed the table for the next booking. WTF, we still had time left, not to mention meat still cooking on the bbq. The couple next to us who were there before us weren't hassled to vacate. Dismayed, we headed to the cashier at which point we were told the early bird special was cash only and as a bonus there was an unexpected weekend surcharge of 10%. Classic bait and...

Be vigilant and make sure everything you ordered is accounted for. At the end of the allocated eating time, we had extra orders added without our knowledge and we were threatened with a $30 food wastage surcharge.

You are given 90mins to finish eating which includes 1hr ordering time. You order via an ipad at the table. We came as a big group of 10 pax and were seated at 2 tables (table 13 & 14) which had 2 ipads to order from for each table. We mainly used just 1 ipad (table 13) to order from to prevent over ordering. We chose the gourmet option of $88 per pax. We were enjoying our meal and full but waiting for dessert to come. Instead, a large plate of aburi sushi appeared. We told them we didn't order it but they showed us an order chit (from Table 14 ipad) for the sushi and told us very sternly that we DEFINITELY ordered it and we can either finish it or pay a $30 surcharge. Our bill came up to $700+ and we wld be happy to pay the surcharge or eat the sushi if we did order it but we definitely did not order it. Instead of being empathetic or questioning a possible fault in their ipad ordering system, they were insistent we either finish the plate or pay $30. Intimidated and really upset, we decided to try and finish the plate of sushi.

Objectively, the meats were solid and absolutely delicious, the sushi and sashimi were also very fresh and of good quality. However, the staff attitude, the lack of consideration and empathy towards honest paying customers left a bad taste in our mouths. We will definitely not be...

If you’re a sushi lover like me, ya gotta check out this sushi joint in Zetland! As soon as you walk in, you can tell it’s a whole vibe. The place is decked out real nice, all modern with good lighting that gives off a chilled atmosphere.

First up, the quality of the fish is next level. Fresh as, and the sushi’s put together with so much care. Went with a few mates, and we all bloody loved the different rolls we ordered. The special ones were the highlight—full of unique flavours and saucy goodness. The avocado sushi with tuna was a stand-out, real tasty and something different.

The staff are legends—super friendly and welcoming. The minute we rocked up, they gave us the menu and made sure we were sweet with everything. It’s those little things that make a big difference, and they nailed it with the service.

The service was quick as too—our food came out fast, no mucking around. The menu’s got heaps of options, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re keen on the classic sushi or wanna try something a bit fancy with special rolls and new flavours.

Make sure you get the mochi for dessert. They’ve got a few flavours and it’s bloody delicious, the perfect sweet treat to round off your feed.

Prices are pretty fair too, considering the quality of the food and the top-notch service. All in all, this sushi joint in Zetland is one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be telling all my mates about it. If you’re after top-quality sushi with good vibes, this...
