grossly overpriced...has always been charging a premium since they opened. Now $20.50 for a combination "wagyu" pho. Its a bit rich to label your fatty beef, which is standard in traditional pho as wagyu. ...come on wagyu is marbled meat.. Broth is good but not outstanding. Then again a pho restaurant will not survive with a sub par broth. Understaffed - the poor young lady is rushing to take out the food but has no time to clean the tables. I saw 4 tables of people who just ordered but sitting with piles of dirty dishes in front of them. Fresh chilli was only provided on request - the waitress forgot, I had to go up to counter to ask myself, the surly elderly lady gave me 4 thin slices of chilli.... for 20 buck noodles...why so stingy? This will be my last time here, plenty of more reasonable priced options close by. I invite you all to protest the outrageous prices & give this...
Read moreThe Pho isn't great and the portions are small. The beef is cooked well, however, you receive approximately 3 pieces per serving. Even if you order an extra serving of meat, the portion they give you is less than what's in the Pho. If you added the Pho and the extra meet together it comes together as what you would consider a 'Normal Serving'. Everyone seems to comment on the female staff that heads up the shop, I understand why now. I've given this store 3 or 4 chances now and unfortunately there has been no improvement. It's strange, the only other time I ever wrote a review was a pizza store in the same location and it was due to the poor quality.
Edit: 'As for the female staff member that to this moment seems to be a big problem We all have our moments, and we aren't gonna be liked by everyone' You seem to have a lot of a lot of 'moments'. You're a reoccurring theme in all of...
Read moreOrdered the special pork chop with tomato rice. The dish was special for all the wrong reasons.
Paid a whopping $22 for a single piece of over-fried mostly fatty pork, and a serving of red texture flavourless rice... there were also 2 pieces of tomato which were end pieces and some bruised lettuce, which I assume are leftover vegetables that otherwise would be thrown out.
The stuff on the side I threw out after taking a single bite as it was some kind of mushy noodles that were wet and lukewarm and tasted horrible... The fish sauce was served in the smallest sauce container I have ever seen and was literally buried in the corner INSIDE of the dish (horrendous food hygiene standards)
Been to this place 5 - 6 times over the past 2 years or so. Never felt happy or satisfied afterwards. First time leaving a negative review on another business but fully deserved...
