Not authentic Vietnamese restaurant although carrying the name "Pho Time". I believe the staff and chefs are either Thai or Laos which explains why the menu mainly consists of Thai food. Do not trust the photos from the menu as they come out looking VERY different lol much smaller and much less appetising. Pad Thai was extremely wet/soggy and SALTY. Couldn't get through 4 mouthfuls before we had to stop because it was not palatable at all. Avocado shake, popular in authentic Vietnamese restaurant - but at Pho Time, it's a far cry from what it's suppose to taste like. I think only a teaspoon of an avocado was used in the two shakes (sooo stingy).. it tasted like runny, icy, sweet milk that had a very pale and light (almost beige) tint to it. I wouldn't even know I was drinking an "avocado" shake had I not ordered this myself. At $7.50 a shake (which is more expensive than the ones you get from Cabramatta and Canley Heights), I'd expect a drink that tastes like what it's supposed to be. A word of advice to Pho Time - please don't include items on your menu if you can't make them properly. The atmosphere was kind of depressing as well. Don't think I will be returning. So, you've all been warned - Pho Time is NOT a Vietnamese restaurant so don't be fooled lol dint get me wrong, I love Thai/Laos food... But food is just terrible here. Dine at your...
Read moreI went into Pho Time Wetherill Park looking for a meal. I stepped into the Paradise of Vietnamese and chines food, as it claims to be, and began browsing the menu. I had no intended dish on my mind, I simply knew that a game was what I needed.
They are small and the shop could best be described as cosy, if not claustrophobic. Yes, it is a small shop, but here I am hinting about just how many dishes
There aren't a lot of places that cater specifically for and all its affiliates. sold in all kinds of places, but here they've all come together in their gamey paradise and I guess they like it because they put up with the cramped conditions.
The lady was very helpful and eager to recommend to me based upon my needs, I would require. The prices are a little steep, but I think that's . And if you really thought about it. The amount of time you spend more if you get the like I did. If you really work it out, if you do the maths, it's actually a great deal. For your enjoyment you're probably paying less than twenty cents an...
Read moreLooked up this place as I was in the area. Definitely not disappointed.
Lovely inside with tvs around showing dishes. Nice ambiance and clean. More upmarket noodle house.
I tossed up between pho and wonton soup and wontons won.
Although the wontons lacked some flavour/seasoning the broth was nice, delicious egg noodles and chinese greens.
Service was fast and efficient although they forgot my dim sims i didn't really need it as i had wontons anyway.
Overall the rest of the menu looks fantastic and I will be back to try. The lasksa at next table looked damn good.
Its hard to judge on generic wonton soup so hopefully ill get back soon and review my score as the food coming out looks 5 stars!!!
Update. Pho is spectacular very mild well balanced...
