Five stars doesn't do this place justice. I'm writing this review at 3:23 am. You might ask, what sane person thinks about a dish they tried at this ungodly hour? Well, it's someone who's had a life-changing experience. I've been coming to eat at Thai Central for 12 years or more. I can't even remember when I started. And what do you need to order? Their Kana Moo Grob. I promise you, if you can handle a bit of spice, this dish will transport you straight to the bustling streets of Thailand. I've tried Kana Moo Grob in more than six countries, and nothing tops this restaurant's version. Trust me, it's a bucket list, Michelin star-level, try-before-you-die dish. And don't forget to pair it with a Thai Lemon Iced Tea. You'll thank me later. To my beautiful Thai Central staff, I'll be seeing you soon with my usual order.

We were very disappointed with the Laksa and Tom Yum we received last night - we have purchased take away many times before from Thai Central and the soups have always been delicious and packed with flavour. The Laksa was lacking ginger and lemon grass flavours and didn't have the zing it usually does. The Tom Yum was half full of broccoli - it was the first thing I smelt when I took the lid off the container - and not much more (see photos). The soup was like a very watery tomato soup with chilli - no tastes of coriander, ginger, lime or lemongrass. I had to add my own ingredients to make it palatable. We will be very sorry if the business has changed its quality and we have to purchase elsewhere. The curry puffs were good and the chicken satay stick sauce was good although the chicken was a bit chewy.

Taste of the food was reasonable, very less veggies and meat.. but the main issue is with the takeout quantity. As you can see in the photos.. bought two fried rice and one box it was almost full and the other box as in the photos.. almost half. ( I checked the box only after reaching home & was very disappointed seeing this) I wouldn’t trust them with another takeaway.

Our Order Starter: Spring Rolls, Satay Chicken Lunch Mains: Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Pad See Eew Drinks: Coconut Water, Coke Weather: Cold, raining, miserable Hunger Scale: HANGRY

Spring Rolls: Crispy. Hardly had any filling. Zero flavour. There was no seasoning in the mix. Served with a smidge of sweet chilli sauce enough for 1 spring roll.

Satay Chicken: Drowned in overly sweet oily sauce, some may like this but personally I like my chicken with sauce, not sauce with some chicken on the side. Skewer 1, chicken was not dry, cooked perfectly. Skewer 2, 3, 4.... cardboard.

Chicken Pad Thai: Too sweet, too salty, didn't even look right. Pad thai is a heavenly balance between sweet, savoury, tangy, spicy. Its a beautiful caramel-ly colour from the the sugar caramelizing and the tamarind concoction. This "pad thai" brought shame to it's ancestors.

Chicken Pad See Eew: Ok this one really got to me. Got to me so hard, I almost cried. Pad See Eew is meant to be a gorgeous brown colour from the dark soy, it's meant to be sweet, a little bit savoury... What i got was a pale plate of BITTER mess. IT was bitter, I don't know why it was bitter... I can't explain it... but it was so bitter it turned me off eating... even in my hangry state.

We should've known when we walked in and there was not a single asian person in sight (aside from staff). Never again Thai Central,...

I didn't expect green curry to take more than 30 mins to cook. When I was 20 minutes into my order, I asked because I thought cooking was taking too long, and they said it was ready. And I waited another 10 minutes. If the order is missing, all you have to do is tell the truth and apologise to the customer. When you realize that the order is missing, it is not right to lie to the customer that it is ready when you start cooking. Anyone can make mistakes, so it doesn't matter as long as you apologize. But if the response is a lie, it won't solve the problem and only disappoint the customer more.

I've cancelled my order, hence I can't comment on how the food tastes, but the service is really disappointing.

Thanks for your quick response. I also apologise for misunderstanding. However, I carefully think that you should have told me what happened. What I heard from your staff was that the food is coming, but I waited for another 10 mins. If you told me what have happened, then I might have not cancelled the order and enjoyed green curry.

I can see your service is good now. I hope I can enjoy your green curry next time. Thanks for your kind...
