My favourite pork roll in Sydney! I’ve been a customer for over a decade and though prices have gone up since then, the taste is still as mouth-watering as ever. The great thing about King’s is they’re a great bakery in their own right which means you get consistently crunchy fresh rolls every time as they keep baking throughout the day. They also offer a few other varieties of bread if you’re not a fan of crunchy rolls such as the soft rolls and multigrain rolls. The soft rolls are actually my personal favourite. For pate lovers you can ask for more pate or mayonnaise as an extra but usually I find that they’re usually already pretty balanced in flavour.
And what’s more, they make great croissants too! You just need to pop them in the oven a little to crisp them up. The staff is always nice and friendly here and there’s usually a long line during lunch hours but don’t be turned off as it’s worth the wait.

Read moreWaited only 10mins as I arrived around 1130am and was served by a nice smiling little asian lady which was nice. I ordered their crispy pork and crispy chicken rolls both with chilli. The lady packed on the mayo and carrots without me asking her too (both mayo and carrots are my favourites so I wasn't complaining) the crispy pork was $11 and crispy chicken $9, both a little high compared to Top Ryde, MPR and Alex N Rolls. Bread was nice and crispy and overall the taste on both was ok but not worth my 50min drive just to try this based on reviews from others. The rolls both had red onions which for me was a NO NO as it put a off taste for me, it needed white onions or more spring onions plus their wasn't any daikon which to me a banhmi needs. Overall a solid 3/5, would have been a 4 if their wasn't red onions and had either white or more spring onions and added daikon. Will only buy again if I was in the area however not close to Top Ryde, MPR and Alex N Rolls which I would...

This is hands down the best Banh Mi in Sydney.
Banh Mi is my favourite food, I eat it almost twice a week and I try a Banh Mi from a different place every time. There are some very very good rolls in other suburbs, such as Cabramatta, Marrickville and Pyrmont. But the one I keep coming back to is Kings Hot Bread.
The rolls are soft but crunchy, the meat is succulent, the salads are always fresh, the service is always wonderful, the serving size is always generous and the cost is extremely reasonable (in fact they could raise the price and no one would bat an eye). I've been getting a Banh Mi from here for the last 10 years and they are also extremely consistent (I've only had a bad one once in probably 200 visits, and it was because they were closing!)
If you haven't tried this place, do so right now!
I really hope this place sticks...
