Service is quite good, front staff quite helpful as well.
The food however is quite disappointing. It was either frozen or marinated. I guess for what you pay it is plausible? We got the beef($14), It was brisket cut by the looks of it. Cheapest cut of beef. We also got the Wagyu rib ($18) they marinated the meat and it tasted like it was made a while ago. Pork belly was frozen as well ($14) Fish tofu ($7?) was probably the cheapest one i have ever come across.. It was quite dense and had no bounce or chew to it. If it is full of flour it is soft, if it is bouncy and dense it has more fish, this one felt like it had gluten or soy in it as the filler.
However, their Dry dipping was quite decent, the only comment is it was a bit sweet for me after a while.
Overall, paid $40 a head which seems a bit pricey in the scheme of things
It is sad to say but you could go to some Korean bbq places for the same price and they generally source better quality meat (not frozen/marinated unless noted) (as they are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this BBQ place a few years ago when it was extremely overpriced, and the food quality was already mediocre. I didnāt plan to return, but recently heard itās changed to an āall-you-can-eatā model, so I gave it another shot.
Unfortunately, the experience was still disappointing. Although it's advertised as all-you-can-eat, you basically have to order 3 to 4 times just to get one small serving. It feels like theyāre trying to delay or limit how much you actually eat. The food quality hasnāt improved either ā still very average.
The service was also below expectations, especially the attitude of the owner. In hospitality, youād expect politeness and a welcoming manner. Instead, the owner acts like the customers are bothering him or owe him something. That kind of attitude ruins the whole dining experience.
Definitely not a place Iād recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe worst barbecue in Sydney. Beefs are all overpriced with small portion and poor quality. It supposed to be wagyu as shown in the menu, but sorry those are definitely not wagyu. Both taste and texture are even worse than any of those in supermarkets. Rib finger does not look right at all, itās more like the leftover parts from butchers. Classic beef more like an artificial meat, fats are easily come off from the lean meat. Dipping sauces took a century to make, and finally delivered to us when we almost finished our meal. They refused our request to get two bowls of steamed rice, instead, they recommended their fried rice which cost at least $10.8. The portion of their fried rice looks like a kids meal. For the owner, you should be ashamed of yourself for using the worst...
