I have lived in Sydney for 35 years and I can honestly say the woodfired pizza at pizza Pasta Co. is the best I have ever tasted. From the very first bite it was perfection ā the base had that perfect balance of crispness and chew, the toppings were fresh and full of flavour, and every slice reminded me why true woodfired pizza is unbeatable.
As good as the pizza was, what truly made the experience unforgettable was Ihsan. He is, without a doubt, one of the best people I have ever been served by in any restaurant. He greeted us with genuine warmth, made us feel comfortable straight away, and carried that same energy throughout the whole meal. He was attentive without hovering, knew exactly when to step in, and treated us like valued guests rather than just another table. His professionalism, kindness, and natural charm turned what could have just been a great meal into a really special family outing. People like Hussain are rare, and he deserves to be recognised.
I also want to mention Aron, the manager, who clearly knows how to run a restaurant the right way. You can see it in how smoothly everything works, how happy the staff are, and the overall atmosphere of the place.
Between the best pizza Iāve had in decades and the exceptional service from Hussain, Wildfire Pizza has set a new standard for me and my family. We left smiling, and we honestly cannot wait to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there today for the first time because I heard about it from TikTok and there was good reviews. I usually never write google reviews but Iāve never experienced this. Me and my friend entered and it was busy but no one told us they canāt take us. We went and ordered food and then realized there was no tables left. The waiter said to sit and wait for a table so we did. 20 minutes later, the food comes and we still donāt have a table, the waiter looks confused as we are and says sheāll put the food aside until a tables is free. 10 minutes later the family at the table felt bad and left so we can have the table. We get up and sit on the table and the waiter comes with the cold pizza and tells us they need the table by 6:30, I look at the time and see that itās 6:15, my friend then says āso we only have 15 minutesā i then got annoyed but all I said was āweāll just take it to goā nicely but I was honestly shocked. When we got the takeaway and saw the portion sizes it was honestly shocking. Because I saw the plate and it was way more full so obviously they had to give us less portions for takeaway. In conclusion, we waited 30 minutes to eat cold food. I understand that they were busy and booked out, but at least let us know you guys donāt take walk ins or are completely booked. Iām so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe garlic bread was not toasted at all and I donāt think it even had any garlic on it to be honest. It was so bland. Definitely a few days old⦠They should just call it āwarm cheap 3 day old white breadā rather than garlic bread.
Iām not sure what was on the pepperoni pizza but it certainly wasnāt pepperoni. Perhaps it was some kind of halal fake meat. Iām really not sure. It doesnāt say on their website they are HALAL but itās certainly not pepperoni just some kind of bland like fake beef that you sometimes see in halal restaurants⦠They should actually buy some pepperoni and put it on next time
The one saving Grace was the Lamb pizza that actually was pretty good The base needed to be cooked longer but given the subpar standard of the rest of the dishes it was actually pleasant that there was something edible
The Greek salad was hilarious, basically 3/4 undressed Woolworths leaves - note to staff if you are reading this review Google āGreek saladā look up the ingredients and try that next time
Was hoping for a nice pizza on a Sunday night. Unfortunately Iām $87 down for 2 pizzas, inedible garlic bread and $2 worth of mixed greens woolies wouldnāt sellā¦.
I had 2 slices of the lamb pizza and the rest ended up in the binā¦...
