It’s a shame this place has such a low average rating. I hope it doesn’t put some people off because they deserve much higher than that.
I’m a big fan of Lanzhou noodles and would drive an hour sometimes to visit one of my favourite noodle places. Glad I don’t need to do that anymore! This place is very authentic, with chewy noodles and delicious soups. Portions are very generous and I’m not just talking about the size of the bowl. They were definitely not stingy with the meat and vegetables. Just a highly enjoyable and hearty meal.
Service was also fantastic. The lady that waited on us was very friendly and since we sat outside with our dog, she came out soon with a bowl of water for him.
We’ll be back for sure and hope others will too and keep supporting them.

It doesn't taste sweet if you're expecting sweetness. This would have been delicious if were to be peanut and chilli sauce. Appreciated the leek, coriander alongside typical bok choi.

Read moreService can be hit or miss. The Taiwanese waitress is absolutely lovely, friendly and always provides excellent service, whereas other staff can be a bit abrupt and unhelpful.
Food, the noodles are generally quite decent. The fried rice was a major disappointment and misleading though. The picture on menu depicted generous portions of prawns, roast meats and veggies in the fried rice. What was served to us was rice fried with some soy sauce, and a few bits of frozen veg. When we brought it up, was just told management is aware and has plans to change the picture. I hope they can fix this issue soon.
I appreciate how this restaurant is generally quite kid/family...
