A few months ago we decided to change from our very expensive Tempur mattress of 13 years and gave a "bed in a box" of which I will not mention the company a try. What a big mistake.

We came across latex Bedding at Crows Nest and have been dealing extensively with Dave as well as Cliff and have purchased twin XL single Madrid mattresses.

Concurring as for all the other reviews that have been made here, the service and advice from Dave and Cliff is second to none. There is no pushy sales pitches, and they let their mattresses do the work and let you decide what feels best for you. They have both been in the industry for several decades and know everything about beds and sleeping patterns/positions, as well as all the fancy sales pitches.

I have made several calls to Dave in regards to our purchase and he been supportive of our needs all the way and we have talked collectively for a few hours exchanging information and ideas.

For mattresses, "soft", "firm" "medium" or "hard are really in the opinion of the people themselves. Just because any mattress available for purchase anywhere is advertised as firm, doesn't mean it is firm for you. It may be hard as a rock, or it may feel soft. Everyone is different is this is critically important.

Latex bedding offers 6 months for you to trial their mattresses, well more than the widely used "100 days" that many but not all offer. This gives you the time to experience for yourself how your initial decision in your purchase of mattress performs, and you can change the configuration of your mattress yourself by flipping it to a different feel and experiment in what suits best.

7 weeks on now, and my wife reports no hip pain whatsoever, (took her a few weeks to get used to the mattress) and I also have no shoulder pain waking me up anymore, which is what was happening to us with the tempur. I personally still find the soft side of the Madrid still too firm, so Dave sent me a topper and it makes it much more comfortable. Unfortunately, I have had a nose operation meanwhile which has hampered my overall sleep apnea in the recovery phase, so I am still getting used to the mattress on all soft sides up and an additional topper, so for me I am still experimenting to be honest . My wife also has used the topper and is now all she needs to be really comfortable.

Dave and Mike are two of the nicest people we have ever dealt with, and as they are the only people that run the business, they are directly responsible for everything that happens in the business- from them to the customer in the form of customer service, advice and support and from the customers and how they perceive this company.

The reviews only solidify how Dave and Cliff run a fantastic company which genuinely wants their customers to be happy with their purchases, and they back it up in so many ways.

After a HUGE amount of mattress research and review reading, I discovered the Bedding Co. I have tried a couple of mattress in the box, including the Koala and as much as my friends who have them seem pleased I hated the sinking feel to them. I have slept on latex mattresses in the past and they used to come with a huge price tag but looking around the market, yes, they are more expensive than your typical memory foam mattress in the box, but they are still under $2k.

We visited the Crow’s Nest shop and tried both the Madrid and the Euro mattresses. I preferred a little more firmness in my mattress so opted for the Euro. From ordering to the delivering process, this was very easy, quick and efficient. I had my whole setup ordered and delivered within 5 days. We purchased the bed base, sheets and pillow deal with the mattress. I have been using bamboo sheets for many years and wouldn’t use any others. The latex pillows are not for me, but my partner loves them, and the bed base comes with a latte coloured cover and black bed stands.

My initial thoughts on the bed was how soft it felt, but after a couple of days I was still getting used to the firmness. Now after nearly 2 weeks I really love it! Me and my husband had brought a euro bed back in 2020. The customer service we got was amazing. We love our bed. It’s the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. It’s all natural latex. Even the pillows are amazing. These will last over 20 years and more. Cliff and Dave are amazing ppl. The customer service they gave us was better than any other retail shop could give us.
