Absolutely no chance of me returning here. I ordered the chicken burger, my friend ordered the steak sandwich. It was a Korean spicy chicken burger, the sauce wasn’t remotely spicy, it was the sweetest, sugar riddled sauce I’ve tasted in my life. It was horrible and over powered the rest of the burger. Apparently it had grated Parmesan on it. Not even sure how a chef thinks aged Italian cheese works with Korean sauce that is super sweet, but they clearly don’t have a clue. It didn’t remotely compliment the fried chicken, which was under cooked! When I sent it back they brought a new burger that was drowning even more in that horrible sauce. I couldn’t finish it and felt ripped off.

My friends steak sandwich was no better. Chewy steak that was hard to break down. Not sure why a kitchen would use a cut that should be stewed but here we are, a first for everything I guess. He couldn’t finish either, wouldn’t give us our money back despite eating less than half each. I know not to return at least and take my...

Charlie & Franks have delved into the evening dining scene with their Tapas & Vino dinner menu. This outlet is located just off the Pacific Highway in St Leonards. The venue is spacious and this evening, they had a live musician outside.

Our large group had a bit of everything so there was no fomo here. The pick of the small plates included the Fried Heirloom Carrots which were vibrant and sweet in flavour. Zucchini Flowers are nicely crisp on the outside with a creamy filling. The Arancini was also very delicious.

My favourite dish was the Lamb Shoulder Ragu. Tender melt in the mouth pieces of lamb are combined with luscious pasta. Very flavoursome. The Mushroom Gnocchi had lots of mushrooms in a creamy sauce.

The variety of cocktails, wines, beer, cider, and spirits is excellent.

Service is on point and wonderful. Well worth...

Their new spring menu brings fresh ingredients with various culture inspired dishes such as the Chicken bone broth with ramen noodles. Their soup is very light and nourishing, with chicken and pork sausage.

The turmeric and coconut barramundi is more heavier dish where I would recommend sharing with others and add Roasted broccoli cutlet on the side.

Finishing off with the naughty side, I was very impressed with the Spelt Ricotta Pancakes, with layers of pancakes the texture was fluffy and had a hint of cinnamon. It was like a cinnamon donut but pancakes. Definitely a must try ❤️

Overall incredible staff with smiles adds that extra cherry on top for experience and...

Plenty of street parking nearby, it is located off the main road in the IBM plaza, so a little hidden but plenty of signage. 💥 A huge space, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I wish it was dog friendly inside! 💁🏼‍♀️ We got absolutely spoilt here, so much food and we also tried their catering boxes too!! We had so many left over I ended up taking them to North Shore hospital nearby to the nurses. 🧃 Plenty of smoothie, juice and coffee options. All the food was on point, super beautiful and delicious. They definitely specialise in bowls and have so many on their menu. Their catering boxes was some of the best i’ve seen!!

What a wonderful concept this restaurant created👍. Tapas&Vino is a perfect combination of comforting food and delicious drinks for an upcoming winter..but you know what? You could enjoy it all year round. It was only that I discovered it few weeks ago and found a perfect satisfaction in it on a chilly evening. I loved Prawn Rolls and Kingfish Crudo from their Sharing/Tapas menu as well as their Antipasto platter. From main dishes, big thumbs up go to Crispy Atlantic Salmon and Lamb Ragu. You can all enjoy it while sipping on yummy hot Mulled wine. What a wonderful evening!!! Must go!!!
