I almost gave the food a 3/5 after one of the most disappointing bruschetta's I have had in many a year.

While the garlic bread base was novel, having no balsamic vinegar and substituting basil for parsley meant that the dish fell so flat and my expectations of what was to come were low. Fortunately the rest of the meal was excellent and almost made up for the poor start.

The pesto chicken fettuccini was delicious, with subtle flavours combining to produce a highly recommend dish. The lasagne was also superb, piping hot and I enjoyed every mouthful of the tomatoe and beef sauce.

I was reluctant to try the tiramisu as it's one of my favourite dishes but fear not as this was an outstanding (homemade) dessert and a great way to end the meal.

Prices were very reasonable and the ambiance welcoming and comfortable.

Now if only they could add 50 cents/$1 to the cost of the bruschetta to cover the balsamic vinegar, fresh basil and maybe even a few parmesan shavings and you would have a much better brushetta worthy of the rest of the menu.

Will I go back, most definitely (probably for the pizza) but I won't be ordering an Italian classic in its...

Our experience here tonight was fantastic.

Local to us and given it is only a few months into its trade we were very happy with the service and the food that we were introduced to tonight.

We ordered the Antipasto for 2 as an entree and we almost felt that this was going to be enough. The platter definitely had an array of Italian flavours with meats, cheeses, olives and sundried tomato with bread as well. We had ordered a pizza to share as main and actually thought we were going to struggle to get through it. However the pizza came out and looked amazing. The crust was nice and thin, which made it light enough for us to enjoy and not feel overwhelmed by our choices.

The staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive to service at all times. We did have one male staff member, despite very good at his job - could have appeared a bit more interested in being there and a smile here and there. It does make a difference.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and we are happy that this is local to us - one day we...

We were very excited when an Italian opened up local to us and came down to try straight away! We found that the staff were not very attentive and were left to be the last table in the restaurant waiting for food and drinks that we could see ready to be brought over. We attributed it to teething issues as a new business so decided not to write them off yet. Returned for a second time to similar issues and very thin crust pizzas. Decided to just stick to pastas. When we came back for a third time at 5.30pm to a near empty restaurant we ordered drinks and entrees. We decided against ordering mains and had multiple staff approach us until finally the owner told us that we are not allowed to order only drinks and entrees and that he had to turn patrons away as a result of us being there. Tables to our left and right were still empty and no customers outside. Unfortunate since the wait staff are so lovely but the rudeness from owner and low quality food doesn’t make it worth it. Wouldn’t recommended but the Italian Street Kitchen at...

I can’t say enough about this place's quality—it exceeded my expectations in every way. We decided to go with pasta and pizza for our mains and started off with the Bruschetta as our entrée. Each dish was absolutely fantastic. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the pizza was equally impressive, with a crispy yet chewy crust and fresh and delicious toppings. The Bruschetta, with its perfectly toasted bread and vibrant, fresh ingredients, was a delightful way to begin the meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant offered plenty of space, whether you prefer dining indoors or enjoying the fresh air outside. The outdoor area was especially nice, spacious, and well-arranged, making it a great option for those who enjoy al fresco dining. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
