I recently visited Pulp & Grind at Sydney Airport and decided to try their watermelon cooler. Unfortunately, my experience was rather disappointing. I paid approximately $8 for the juice and had high hopes for a refreshing and delicious drink, but the taste turned out to be quite strange.
The primary issue with the watermelon cooler was its unusual flavor, which seemed to be a result of the ingredients used. It's possible that the oranges or berries included in the juice were not fresh, as they imparted an off-putting taste. Considering the price I paid, I had expected a much better quality drink.
While I understand that minor inconsistencies can occur in any food and beverage establishment, it was still disappointing to receive a beverage that did not meet my expectations. Given the reputation of Pulp & Grind and the price I paid, I had hoped for a refreshing and flavorful watermelon cooler.
However, it's worth noting that this experience may be an isolated incident, as the quality of food and beverages can vary from one visit to another. It's possible that I simply had an unfortunate experience on this particular occasion.
On a positive note, I appreciate the ambiance and overall atmosphere of Pulp & Grind. The staff members were friendly and attentive, and the establishment itself had a pleasant and clean environment. Their menu seemed diverse and offered a range of healthy options, which may be worth exploring despite my disappointing experience.
Overall, based on my personal encounter with the watermelon cooler at Pulp & Grind Sydney Airport, I cannot recommend it. However, I would encourage others to give this place a chance and perhaps explore other items on their menu, as my experience may not reflect the quality of their entire range...
Read moreWorst staff ever!!!!! I Ordered coffee and they took my order wrong. Anyway staff made another one. While she was pouring milk, I asked her "can I please see while you pouring so I can say stop" the answer from staff was that I know what 3/4 full mean in a disrespectful tone. I didn't say anything okay anyway you do your job. After I grabbed my coffee, she went to the other staff at the register and talk about me and then she went to other personnel to talk about me again with a sneaky smiling on her face. I couldn't believe she has nothing to do at the work place other than going to each personnel to talk about me about asking her to stop pouring milk in my coffee. When I went up to her what's the reason you talk about this her reply was more pathetic then her action " I need to talk to my friend" why would you need to talk about this while customer is still infront of you? U guys need to focus on making coffee not needing gossip about the customer !!!!! Most ridiculous situation ever...

On May 6th, my sister and I, both Asian, attempted to purchase a banana cake before our flight. Due to our limited English proficiency, the female staff member initially didn’t understand our order. Instead of assisting us, she turned to a male colleague and smirked. After repeating the order, she understood but continued to display a mocking demeanor.
When we paid with a 20 AUD note, she returned one 10 AUD note and the rest in small coins, which she tossed at my sister, causing them to scatter into the tip jar. We had to step aside to count the coins and realized we were short-changed. Upon retrieving our rightful money from the tip jar, the staff member glared at us with clear hostility.
This experience felt discriminatory and left us feeling humiliated. As tourists, we expected better treatment and are deeply disappointed. Such behavior is unacceptable, and we hope the management addresses this issue...
