Ive been coming to this pub on and off for years. Spoken highly of this place to friends and family and even been involved with the entertainment on occasion. My friends and I were having an evening to celebrate a friend of ours being in town and were one person short of a complete group. But since it's hard to forget the 90's i guess we should forgive them for being fruitcakes on a power trip. And since management likes employing fruitcakes that refuse patrons entry with legal currency to spend i guess it their...
Read moreI've had the pleasure of visiting the Red Cow hotel in Penrith many times as I lived in the neighbouring areas for over 50 years, and I must say that it has always been a great hotel. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Penrith and just a short walk from the train station. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of picturesque villages and stunning countryside to explore. One of the highlights of the Red Cow hotel is the food. The restaurant serves a wide range of delicious dishes, including classic pub favorites and more sophisticated, contemporary cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and the chefs clearly take great pride in their work.
