Stir Crazy — Restaurant in Sydney

I stood in the empty store at 245 pm for 5 mins b4 the chef finally saw me and motioned for me to go to the end of the counter to get served which was odd it's hard to even know that in order to get served U must go to the end of the counter which is obscured by a big display counter...I placed my order. I have to give credit the vege hokkien noodles were delicious with snake beans Bok Choy broccoli beans sprouts carrots and I love how U see their wok cooking is flaming as they cook your food. $19.69 for noodles a bit steep but this is a big proper restaurant. The only disappointment was I started eating my noodles at 245 pm they give U a big bowl with a saucy broth in the bottom I'm almost sure this is blood mixed in with hoisin sauce ? Because U see that familiar blood appearance ...but it was very delicious the last main disappointment came at around 320pm I was bombarded with this freezing cold air-conditioning being put on ...before that the restaurant was lovely n warm heating then at 15 degrees someone put the air-conditioning on to blow freezing cold air down my back and I noticed the glass screen doors were closed on me because they close at 3pm but the cold air-conditioning turn on making the whole restaurant colder then it was outside pretty much ruined an otherwise enjoyable...

Very devastated & disgusted about my take away order tonight PRAWNS STIRFRY NOODLES + 20 pieces extra prawns with Chinese Sauce! Unfortunately, it was way too much “chinese sauce” that the whole noodles was pure chocolate dark brown sauce with minimum veggies, WTF!!!

I’ve paid $33.00 expecting to be a nice Prawns stirfry with chinese sauce! Such a bloody waste OF time since I was In a queue for an approximately 40minutes or Even longer! Regardless you’re busy or not take your customer order properly and prepare the order in accordance to your menu and customers additional request.

I’ve lost my appetite such a waste of time & money! In future, Make sure all “veggies” in a box and not too much chinese sauce!!! Take Your Customer order seriously, I’ve Asked for “prawns stirfry with veggies” & I’ve paid for it. Give your customer satisfaction especially when I’ve spent $33.00 for one bloody meal!

Unhappy loyalty...

I have been going here since they opened and their quality has always stayed the same: top notch. Fresh ingredients you can see and taste, cooked on the spot. They recently updated the menu with new options such as pho and pad see ew, which are both fantastic. Very well balanced. HUGE portions but nice to take home and savor later, which is also backed by fair prices. Service is always kind and grateful to each customer, which gives a nice atmosphere.

The only negative I would say is that on busy nights [which is often], the outside tables can sometimes be left un-wiped after previous customers came through, but coming from a retail background I can empathize the team can be overwhelmed when busy. This is all I could nitpick.

I will definitely be keeping up my regular visits to Stir Crazy Penrith. Definitely recommend! Top dishes are chicken pad thai, pad see ew, pho, and...
