Took my kids to eat at Sahara outside Casula mall yesterday after school pick up only to be confronted by a male waiter who was having a chat to some old lady…he said I couldn’t sit there because I was holding a coffee cup from donut king. I thought he was joking and I proceeded to ask for a table for 5 as I intended to dine there with my family which I communicated to him but he kept talking over me and just insisted I leave the restaurant! Wow!!! He didn’t even ask nicely whether I would be willing to finish my coffee first & throw away the cup (which I would’ve happily done so) instead he just told me to buy takeaway and leave his restaurant. He said I will make their business look bad if I was to be seated with a coffee cup from a different shop. Really? Is that the real reason? I felt personally attacked by him in front of my kids! Mind you they had no customers dining there at the time. My kids were hungry but I immediately left and felt so humiliated! I will never ever go back there again and would never recommend this place to family and friends. The food is not that great anyway, extremely oily and their food hygiene is questionable, but we used to go there for our kids. I don’t normally leave a bad review ever, but this place needs to seriously reflect on their customer service/people skills because it is atrocious. There are better places to dine around Casula area and that’s where I will be taking my business...
Read moreI Had bad experience with this restaurant today, although having eaten there so many times before. I will definately not go there any more. Ordered a double shish plate and asked the lady behind the counter for garlic dip as it was separate and asked the price which she responded to by saying there was a $2, $6, and $8 one. I advised the lady I will take the $2 dip and had the meal. However when i went to pay my bill this very rude guy was trying to charge me $6. Rude guy told us that since we had eaten the dip I should pay $6 and that they dont have any $2 dip left. He talked over us and didnt bother actually trying to listen to me. The guy started swearing at my daughter and I and told us it was our fault. Told him its not our fault as i told the lady to give me the dip that was $2. He told us that the lady dosent know and we should read the menu as there was a dine in and takeaway price which the lady did not adivse us about. I would not have minded paying the extra $4 if the guy would have admitted that it was their staffs mistake and had apoligised. He then told us to just pay get out of the restaurant. His rude behaviour and failure to admitt the mistake whilst trying to charge us extra would have gotten this place a 0 star...
Read morePayed over 50 dollars for a nice evening feed with my family, just because we had 2 cups of coffe from another shop they told us either to leave and eat my food that I payed for on the food court or gave us the opportunity to throw our coffe away. Coming from a Turkish restaurant which I’m not being racist to because I’m Turkish, if there is a family already sitting down and enjoying their food it is not respectful to do such childish behaviour as being adults.
In the end my family was split up , half of them was outside while the other half was inside. If I’m paying for a feed and I’m with my family I would at least expect the workers/owner to let us finish our coffe inside while our food is on the way. But no they didn’t give us any chances other than leaving or throwing our coffe away.
Also they need more improvement on their lahmacun 😁.
I want to repeat my self again , they did not give any chances. For example allowing it for the time being and telling us not to do it next time. I find it extremely disrespectful for what...
