I will never eat here again. The people who work here have the worst customer service I have seen (and this is coming from someone who has worked in hospitality for many years). Upon ordering, we were met with hostilty as the waitress was rude and appeared overworked and stressed. This was not even peak hour.
When we asked for some water, she raised her voice and said she would bring it over when she "had time". 5 mins later she brought water and plates/cutlery which she slammed on the table which prompted my partner to wonder if we had done something wrong???
After waiting a further 20 mins, they proceeded to bring my partner's food out and then tell me that "they had run out of the ingredients for my dish". When i asked why they didnt advise me at the start or 20 mins ago, she simply shrugged her shoulders.
This is appalling and i will never eat here again. If you want great authentic thai food and superb service, go to Spicy Aroma in Canley Vale or Xangpuak Lao and Thai in...
Read moreDrop by this restaurant around 2.45pm, alone for lunch. When I wanted to enter, the waiter said I had to do take away only as they close at 3pm. But 2.45pm is not yet 3pm. When I looked into the dining area, it was pretty much empty. To dine in I had to tell him that I will be quick as I am only one person. Only then he let me dine in. Anyway, some time later I saw another customer and he also dined in, maybe the waiter's friend. I had something simple, Grapao Gai, there was an additional $1 surcharge which was inconspicuously written on the menu with black marker. The color of the menu is already dark purple color and the black marker doesn't really stand out. Anyway, taste wise the food was average. For this restaurant I would go back and try the other dishes on the menu. By the way, I think it's a bad choice of name for this restaurant, because, if it doesn't improve on the PR, who knows it might end up like the "Titanic". We all know what happened to...
Read moreThis is the worst restaurant I've been to. We made a booking for 7 O'clock for my husband and son's birthday. First of all they forgot to give us our entree. After reminding them they slooowwly came through. We ordered six entree and we got five (they still managed to forget one order). One hour and a half later, two mains came through. We had to remind them that we ordered six mains. By the time the rest of the mains came through the other two has gone cold. I was still in good spirit at this point. However, after realising that the jasmine rice that we got was actually burnt, (how do you burn rice?) I lost my good humour. To top it off, the fried ice cream that we ordered (at 7pm and it's now 9pm) has ran out. So no dessert. The service was poor and the food was no better. Extremely salty and tasteless. A less authentic thai restaurant does not exist. If i could give it a negative rating I would. Save your money, go...
