UPDATE: During my stay I booked another two nights and Vivian was kind enough to upgrade me to a Diamond Queen Room for my last night free of charge! I have to say that the service at this motel was exceptional; Vivian is extremely kind and the house keepers are also very kind and accommodating. The room was in a block of rooms behind the original motel and looks like it was developed in the past couple of years. The Diamond Queen Room itself was really nice. It was very spacious and had the same amenities (see my original review below) as the Deluxe Queen room but the bathroom was a lot bigger with a large shower and there was another deep sink in the main room. The shower took a bit of time to warm up but Vivian mentioned that they're looking into changing the water heating system. Being further from the road meant that it was a lot quieter and as it was a double storey building there's some shading (depending on where the sun is) for your car. The bed was really comfortable and the air con worked great, everything about the room was modern and comfortable. If you need a larger room I'd highly recommend checking out one of these rooms! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stayed at this motel for a few days whilst visiting Sydney. Never stayed at a motel before so I can’t really gauge how it compares to other motels, but it’s a pretty good place to stay if you’re staying in the Casula area and want to stay somewhere cheap (I paid $520 for 5 nights). Previous reviews have been quite poor but the motel was renovated in 2022 and the rooms are a lot nicer and modern now (compared to old photos). I stayed in a Deluxe Queen room which had a basin in the room and a shower and toilet in an ensuite, a table with a chair and a clothing rack. There was also complimentary tea and coffee in the room with a mini fridge. Towels and soap are also provided. The staff are quite friendly and rooms are kept daily by housekeeping and mine was quite clean. Main issues are that it can be a bit noisy, the walls seem to be quite thin despite looking like brick. If people are sitting outside their rooms talking you’ll be able to hear them. There’s also traffic noise from the Hume Highway and you’ll hear people starting their cars if they’re parked outside adjacent rooms which can lead to disturbance when trying to get some sleep. I had to sleep on the left side of the bed as well because the right side felt a bit lumpy. For some reason the toilet in the room I stayed in (23) smelt quite bad and the smell never went away during my stay no matter how many times I flushed it (I promise it wasn’t me!) so I had to keep the door closed otherwise the smell wafts in easily. I’d suggest housekeeping use air freshener in the toilet when they’re doing housekeeping. An extractor fan in the bathroom wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Despite the minor issues, for the price it's a great place to stay I think. I was considering this place or the Ibis Budget Hotel but I would definitely come back here again because of the friendliness of the service and the clean rooms. No bed bugs during my stay aswell thankfully!

I stayed in the older, single story part of this motel for four nights in a double room (room 8) For the price ($107/night) this is a five star motel. The room had obviously been fully renovated with a great bed, fresh floor coverings and furniture and fully renovated bathroom; all spotless!. Facilities were split unit air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV and the usual basic tea and coffee. (no cutlery or crockery other than mugs and glasses). The room was serviced daily with fresh linen, soap, bed made, vacuumed, bins emptied and benches wiped clean. Images of room shown on this site are accurate. of my room. Very pleasant staff all round. Whilst situated on the old Hume Highway road noise was acceptable. Fortunately no trucks seem to use this route and the noise was limited to the swish of car tyres. (I am from a rural area without any noise so I am coming from a critical base). The only issue I had with my room was that the last cm of my window would not close to help eliminate any outside noise. Train station is a short walk (8 m) with very regular services to Sydney (50 mins). be prepared for a steep walk and stair climb on your return. I am hitting 80 but I managed it and got better each night on my late return from Sydney! Thanks staff for making my stay enjoyable and I will stay again on my next visit to Sydney.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Diamond queen rooms in new building. Parking looks to have camera monitoring at the new building which is at the back of the older 1960s building. Very quiet at night, bushland behind new building that is far away from the highway.. Popular place with plenty of tradies and truckies staying here. No Centrelink voucher type residents here. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned daily. Shower stalls glass are obviously polished dry without a single spot visible on them. Windows were all locked but staff happily came and unlocked them for me the next day. No hair dryer or tissues so bring your own if you require these. "Kitchenette" area big enough to put your own appliances on. Had a pleasant stay and happy to stay again.

I wrote a lengthy positive review on this motel 12 months ago. Now, another 5 day stay in this budget price motels and my comments are the same. I travel alone and stay in a budget queen room which is exactly as shown on the website.||Clean rooms with pleasant basic furnishings ||Good shower||Great bed||Split unit airconditioning in each room||Refrigerator, kettle, cups , glasses ( no microwave, cutlery, or crockery no toiletries other than the traditional cake of soap)||Same, friendly obliging staff as last time||Rooms serviced daily with a clean, and fresh towels and tea, coffee, sugar, milk||Acceptably quiet.||Plenty of on-site parking options for all types of vehicles.||Train and shopping mall, each a 10 minute walk ( in opposite directions).||General comments:||The motel consists of 2 parts . There is the older original section ( probably built in the 70’s) where I stay, but it has a newer 2 storey block at the rear which may be of a different standard and additional room facilities, and maybe a higher price! ||The train ride is about 60-75 minutes into Sydney. Often it quicker to catch a train one station further down the line to Glendale and change trains there for the Holdsworthy/airport line into Sydney. The Opal app will offer will show the best option for your time..||The train station is located in a valley so be prepared for a climb back to the motel. My iPhone counts the climb as 8 flights consisting of a 100 steps with inclined walk between flights. Parking is limited at the station on the motel side of the track but plenty of parking on the other side but that is a 3k drive...
