We Had a awful luch meal in saigon city newport on 01.01.2020. Staff over charged us on our coconut water and small bottle of orange by $1 and $0.5.
They keep telling us they always charge other customers by $7 on coconut water and $4.5 on small botter juice. Before we starting order meal the staff did not telling us anything about the price is difference. They printed price on the menu which is $6 and $4.
When we checked out the bill and come back talk to them, they just said they would like to charge whatever they want and if you not happy you can leave. During this convensation there is no any apologize about overcharged price and keep finding the excuse say its our falut. We really dont care about $1.5 but this attitude of staff make us feel upset.
Beside that, This restaurant charge 15% of extra pay on total bill on public holiday(Staff never tell anything when you starting order meal) which only print a small piece of ticket on the counter. And also they do not even give out any Tax Invoice for customer which only offer one piece of paper with hand writing on price!
This is absoutley unbelieveable restaurant. Wish you "ALL THE...

Firstly they provided literally 3 strands of noodles in my bowl, which I made up for when the sprouts came in. My partner was given a dish with vermicelli when he ordered the rice.
The table behind us had a vegetarian who told the waitress he couldn't eat meat but they argued that he already took a bite and refused to change the dish, even though the guy said he took one then realized there was meat.
The waitress acts like she doesn't understand English, doesn't take down the right dishes, and send to be taking advantage of tourists who don't understand Australian currency.
You're better off...
Read moreExtremely slow service without reason. Venue was dingy.
Our duck pancake was crispy, but too thick with mountains of raw beansprout & onion and very small & barely noticeable serving of duck(but looked like chicken). Sauce was too watered down and insufficient to add flavour to the overall dish. Was a poor dish and will not be reordering.
Perhaps there is a discrepancy in service given to locals vs visitors, or maybe their ratings reflect the lack of Vietnamese dining options in northern beaches, but I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be returning. There are better Vietnamese dining almost...
