I recently had the pleasure of trying the barramundi burger at Samjon Seafood, and I must say, it was a culinary delight! The barramundi steak was absolutely to die for perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of freshness and seasoning that truly showcased the quality of the fish.

The burger itself was well-structured, with all the components working together beautifully. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold up against the juicy barramundi and the accompanying toppings. It was clear that great care was taken in crafting this burger, and it definitely paid off.

What impressed me even more was the reasonable price for such a high-quality meal. It’s not every day you find a burger that’s not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. I’m a seafood fan, have been eating fish more than 50 years, and from an Island where you get lots of fresh seafood.

I bought a whole King fish and got it cleaned and cut. I didn’t check anything before buying it assuming that it would be reasonably fresh and good to eat, because I’m living in Australia.

But unfortunately, when we were going to cook it, we noticed that it has been frozen and thawed and also noticed that blood was dark brown (not red or even close to red), it was yellow inside the fish where stomach and bowels had been. All these signs confirm that this fish has been in the shop for several weeks at least if not months. It might have been taken out from the freezer in the morning and again put back in the evening for a long time. There may be good fish also in this shop, but you cannot trust these people if they sell this kind of very old fish. Will...

I purchased 1 piece of grilled salmon the woman behind the counter asked if I’d like chips and salad with that I declined and asked for 6 pieces of calamari. But charged me for the fish chips and salad meal also the calamari but only gave me grilled fish and calamari when I approached her about not charging me for just the fish and calamari she said no either way we charge you the pack price UM hello you need to disclose that at the register so I have a choice to add the calamari be careful she’s making profit off you backs. And couldn’t be bothered having the proper conversation. She also said lots of people decline and pay yes because your deceiving them and they don’t check the price.
