Their best dish is definitely the Yunnan-style fried potatoes ($9.8) - shaped like crinkle cut fries but dusted in a moreish spice mix (chilli, salty, mala, with a tinge of sweetness), toasted crushed peanuts and coriander. Delicious! The Yunnan rice noodle copper pot ($15.8) would be the signature - spicy and similar flavour profile to the potatoes. We asked for less spicy. The wontons in chilli sauce ($14.8) are OK - not a traditional 红油抄手 because the wontons are in more of a chilli sauce (which has a sweet and numbing flavour profile) than the traditional chilli oil. And they are more dumplings than wontons in terms of the thicker, firmer wrapper, not thin and slippery. 5% off for paying cash.

This is a nice Asian food restaurant in Rosebery. So in my opinion for local people it is a good choice. I have been here already 3 times and never was disappointed. The ambience is nothing special, it’s not a fine dining, so the main reason is the quality of the food. Service was ok, the girls waitress polite and attentive. The selection of dishes is wide and overall the experience is good. I guess that living in the area this place would be popular for take away. Well done to the owners, keep the quality of the food at good standard and you will have no problems. I will be back here as regular customer

Tucked away in the midst of apartment blocks in Rosebery is a non-descript little noodle joint that serves up rather comforting bowls of noodles from the south-western part of China. There is a condiment bar at the cashier counter where you can zing up your noodles with minced garlic paste, fresh chillies, sliced spring onion and sprigs of coriander. While slurping away, we eyed the man at the next table who singlehandedly hoovered up six fried pork buns and a delectable dish of what appeared to be chicken in chilli dressing, and decided there was enough deliciousness to come back for a second look.

From what I heard, the chef has changed, and the noodle quality has been dropping. Sadly, I cannot recommend at times anymore. Long living stores often have owners as the chef, which is the case for next door.

This store wasn't great for a very long time (from day one) up until a certain time in 2023 or 2022 when it had a new logo. The food quality is much better now. I believe it is even better than Ocean Six next door while being cheaper (because Ocean Six increased their price from 2024). They now have a very great curry chicken rice and decent noodles. Do not go to this place!! I wish I could put no star rating. The food is over priced and portion is small. The stuff is rude. The customer service is the worst one I have ever seen. We had our team lunch there recently. The bowl of noodle soup got tipped over because of uneven joint table. Thank God no one got burnt by the hot soup. The waitress said they would make another one. After a long while no bowl of noodles was served. So we asked a staff. The answer we got was that we needed to order again. The worst part was no communication to tell us we need to order again.
