The guy taking our order was pretty rude. Customer service means everything to me. If I was the owner of this cafe I would for sure look into staff training. First I know he charged me an extra 50 cents because I asked about the Oat milk that they had and he said it was something else so I declined it yet he still charged me the extra 50 cents. Second he was on his phone. Thirdly he was just rude in general, he was even rude when my husband and I were talking to someone we knew on the line!! He asked us if we were going to order and if not to basically move even though nobody was behind us... I have resisted the tempting display of croissants, cronuts & savoury pastries so many times but finally gave in. Everything looks so good in the display at this small kiosk inside Westfield. I opted for a cheese & spinach item before indulging in an almond croissant & red velvet croissant filled with nutella (all $6). The pastry on the savoury "pie"/bread was really lovely, a cross between a soft turkish bread & roti with multiple layers. The filling was tasty but had too much onion for my liking. The almond croissant had a custard like filling, more sweet then almond. The red velvet croissant had a generous amount of nutella which is a hit but the pastry itself was nothing special & was quite soft, slightly dry & not buttery like a croissant should be. I ordered 5x coffees and 3x sweets. Dropped $45 here. The food looks better then it tastes but my real complaint is the service. Ordering 5x coffees with a baby strapped to my chest and holding 3x bags of the sweets I ordered for my family the girl serving me brings the coffees to the pick up area, looks at me and says "5x coffees?? Yup trays are around the front" not sure why she couldnt load the coffees into the trays to carry to the pick up area or offer to at least grab a tray when my hands are clearly full.
