I booked a table for 8 people through their website and received a confirmation email. When we turned up on time there were no reserved tables. To their credit the waiters scrambled to accommodate us even though the restaurant was packed. However, after ordering, our food did not come out for over an hour and we had young children who were getting very hungry. We asked a waiter when our food would be coming out and he said, "In 5 minutes." After a while we asked again and the main waitress told us, "Don't talk to me, I'm busy." We saw other tables who arrived after us be served and finish their meals before we were served. We saw Uber drivers arrive and wait around for a long time, and still be given food before us. We overheard other diners also complaining that their food had not arrived. Some customers left because they just couldn't wait. In my opinion, if you know your kitchen is over stretched for the evening, stop inviting new customers to sit down only to be disappointed and stop taking new online orders. It just frustrates everybody. Eventually our food came out at all different times. We were so hungry we ate in about half and hour and left. Food was ok. Frantic atmosphere felt like we were living in a live version...

I ordered Veggie Ramen take-away. The first bag was somehow dropped when the waiter was about to hand to me. He said sorry and the kitchen cooked another one. The ramen was not cooked enough (I guess they were in a hurry as they dropped the first one and didn't want me to wait for long?) The veggies are pretty raw and the noodles are very hard as well. Unfortunately I'm suffering with stomachache today and the half-cooked onion (still very spicy) and almost raw carrot/zucchini made me very sick... I threw up 10 mins after I had the Ramen.... I guess if I'm okay today, it shouldn't be that bad but let's just say me and the restaurant should take it half-half. I like their bento boxes, and I never tried other Ramen but honestly I think the veggie Ramen doesn't worth $15... Only a few Chinese cabbage (in big chunks), carrots, onion and zucchini. 3 small pieces of Tofu. That's it. Taste is ordinary, still a very strong onion spicy in my mouth...

Lovely foods and reasonable price; that is where it stops there. The female waiter (not japanese)is very unprofessional when taking orders. My best friend want to order drinks, and when I asked the size of the watermelon juice for myself, she said if I didn't want to share, it is fine without giving the actual size of the large, making decision for myself without given me the choices . Her response of " don't want to share" was like I am selfish with the body language suggesting , which both myself and my friend were shocked at how inappropriate that was. The fresh watermelon juice came with added sugar, which for medical reasons, I was not able to drink. Fresh watermelon juice means fresh, not added sugar, and if you do, you should have told or shown it on a poster. I also choose this restaurant over the next one . After this experience, I would rather choose the next door...

I love that this restaurant has outdoor seatings & they are also shaded! Food were served quickly & friendly too 😊. I had Miso Negi Ramen which had great portion & nice chashu. The only thing that would make it perfect if the egg was more half boiled 😃! The Wagyu Beef Hot Pot in Sukiyaki soup & Chicken Katsu Don were delicious too 👍. Such a great & reasonably priced Japanese feed, I’ll be back for sure! They’re also open for dinner & weekends too, so it’s a great meal option in the city. ✅ Kids friendly (high chairs available) ✅ Prams & wheelchairs friendly ✅ QR code order on the table are available for convenience ✅ Indoor & Outdoor seatings are available

Great and satisfying food. We got Edamame & Takoyaki to start and finished them in record time. Takoyaki was hot, not overly greasy and had good amount of octopus inside We both got Bento Boxes, one teriyaki chicken and the other the Wagyu beef. Our boxes came with Miso Soup, More Edamame, Salad and Rice served on a Hot plate! The chicken was plentiful but there was definitely less Wagyu. Which makes sense considering the reasonable cost. We split our plates between the two of us and it rounded out to a perfectly yummy meal. Be sure to pair it with someone sweet!! We forgot to order the Yuzu Lemonade. Just means we have to come back again!
