Went in tonight at about 6:30 tonight and everything was packed up as if it was ready to close. We read the door sign opening hours and it stated it was meant to close at 9pm, most of the food was all covered up & ready to be packed away. The lady that served us was so rude & had horrible customer service skills, she didn’t ask how we were; simply just “what do you want”, we have family in hospital and so we were there to grab some dinner (as everything at the hospital was closed) and so we received a call from our family, the lady then proceeded to grow frustrated and annoyed, almost as if she had to wait for us to continue taking up her time. The first food related problem occurred when I ordered old English cheese, to any meat eater this might not raise any concerns, but as a sister to a vegetarian I was disappointed to see that after she dropped my cheese into the chicken in teriyaki sauce, she then continued to put it on my roll (I didn’t have chicken teriyaki I had ham). I asked her to replace it with another piece of cheese and she put in BACK IN WITH THE OTHER CHEESES. I am a big one for food contamination and if that cheese were then to be given to a vegetarian or someone who had an allergy to the chicken or the sauce.. there would’ve been a bigger problem. She ruined my roll/bread sub when she attempted to spread the obviously not ripe avocado onto my sub, she asked what salads I wanted in a tone as if she was doing me a favour by being there. I asked for red onion which she forgot & I had to remind her twice afterwards to put in on. She put very little of all of the salads on the sub & once it was my Nan’s turn to choose her salads she held out her arms in like a “well what do you want on your sub for salads then” kind of attitude. By this point we were pissed off with her attitude and her tone towards CUSTOMERS. We are paying for this service, we don’t deserve anything less than at least a “hey how are you?”. We got to the end of the line and she didn’t ask whether or not we were paying together or seperately (which didn’t matter to us but may to others) and also forgot to ask whether or not we requested cookies & drinks, until we mentioned we wanted cookies. Which mind you, we shouldn’t have anyway because the cookies I received were half broken and felt as though we got one for the price of two. I’m disappointed to say the least with the way we were treated at Subway in Westmead (Near the hospital), I don’t recommend going there after my experience there tonight and will not be hesitating to contact...
Read moreI ordered a multigrain wrap with cheese, salad, chicken strips, sauce, salt and pepper to be grilled and cut in half. The man that took my order was the owner by the name of Ash. I made payment and had left the shop with my wrap. I checked the wrap and realised that the chicken strips were missing from inside the wrap. So I returned to the subway, told and showed the lady at the counter that the owner who took my order and made my wrap had not put the chicken strips in the wrap. Then the owner appeared, rudely interrupted the conversation, and had said he had forgotten the chicken strips and had taken back the incorrectly made wrap from me, threw that in the bin, and began to make me a new wrap. While making the new wrap, the owner began arguing with me about putting pickles on the wrap. The owner was extremely stingy and petty about the level of pickles and salads to be placed on the wrap, even after forgetting the chicken strips in the wrap in the first instance, and making me return and waste my money and time in having to get a new wrap made. The least the owner could have done was put generous salads in the wrap after his mistakes and wasting my money and time. Then the owner put the grilled chicken, but forgot to cut the wrap in half. He continued arguing with me about the amount of salads to be put on the wrap. I told the owner this his behaviour was rude and unprofessional, that I had made payment for the food, yet he had giving me the wrong food and had still not given me my food. Because I complained to the owner, he raised his voice and told me to leave the shop. The owner still had not given me my food, even after I had already made payment and he had given the wrong food. The owner is a thief, taking money from me as a customer, and not providing me with the food with no service, while arguing and behaving rudely and unprofessionally. The subway owner needs to get his head out of his arse and know that you are not permitted to behave rudely or unprofessionally towards me as a customer, and you need to do your job properly under your responsibility. That if you don't, I as a customer have the right to make complaints against you. Being an owner, does not make you superior to a customer. I do NOT RECOMMEND...

The service at the Westmead Hawkesbury Road Subway branch is a disgrace to the brand’s reputation.
I typically rely on reviews before visiting any store, but I wanted to give this branch the benefit of the doubt despite the negative feedback. What a huge mistake that turned out to be! The experience was beyond disapppointing.
The quality of the food was shocking. My husband had ordered a footlong for me, and I could literally count only six tiny, thin slices of cucumber on the sandwich — and the same pathetic amount on his as well. This is simply unacceptable! My husband had warned me not to go, and I regret not listening to him.
As paying customers, we should never feel uncomfortable asking for what we paid for. The lack of generosity in portion sizes is borderline deceptive. Cutting corners on the main ingredients while leaving extra bread for "taste" feels like a direct attempt to rip customers off a.k.a. daylight robbery!
The staff desperately need regular training. It’s clear that this branch is not up to the standard Subway is known for, and if this store were to undergo a compliance audit, it would fail miserably.
What’s worse, after all the negative reviews, the manager/owner hasn’t even shown the decency to address these issues. Instead, they seem to think customers are just exaggerating or being unreasonable. The rude, dismissive responses from management only reinforce the impression that they have no intention of improving.
Subway, you’ve truly let your standards slip by tolerating such unprofessional behavior from your management team.
I’ve always admired Subway for promoting healthy eating, but this branch is causing more frustration than anything else. The experience here is far from the quality service and food I expect from a brand I’ve supported for...
