I recently had the pleasure of engaging Surjit's Catering for my son's wedding reception, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

From our initial interaction, Rasan and his mother, Manjeet Ji, showcased remarkable professionalism and dedication. Rasan personally visited our home to discuss our specific requirements, which included strict vegetarian (no onion, no garlic) and Jain dietary needs, as well as special considerations for children. His courteous and knowledgeable approach immediately instilled confidence.

Throughout the planning process, both Rasan and Manjeet Ji maintained consistent communication, ensuring every detail was addressed. On the day of the event, their team prepared all dishes fresh on-site, using high-quality ingredients. The result was a culinary experience that exceeded our expectations.

Guests were particularly impressed with unique dishes such as Makhana/Kaju, Soya Chaap, and Karela. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by complimentary dishes that were thoughtfully added beyond our original menu, reflecting their commitment to excellence.

I’ve very recently had my wedding and pre-events catered by the fantastic team at Surjits. I chose Surjit for two reasons. Many years ago, I attended a wedding which was catered by them, and I was stunned by the quality and taste of their food. The ideas for their desserts and entrees are pioneer. The food concepts are amazing. My family also engaged with Surjits for my sisters wedding four years ago. Since that day we have received so many compliments about the food. Yesterday at my own wedding, I got to savour the food and my goodness. Being an Indian, and going to quite a few events I can say that a lot of Indian food tastes very generic, however Surjits food. I can’t explain it. There’s no heart burning pre made packet masala. You can tell the spices have been prepared at the restaurant. You can eat plate upon plate and not feel sick. There’s a mix of sweetness, spice, salty and umami and I know this because so many of our guests complimented me and even the team head, Rassan. Moving on to Rassan and the team. They are fantastic and so good to deal with, that I feel as though they’re like family now. I even was told by my venue manager that he’s never seen his kitchen so clean! We went with Surjit's Catering for our wedding in February and we were blown away by the professionalism, expertise, and friendliness exhibited by Rasan and his team. Food nourishes the soul and my partner and I were ecstatic with all the positive reviews and feedback received from our wedding attendees. Rasan makes it his singular goal to cook with absolute passion as was witnessed on the day when he cooked on-site from 11 am in the morning for a dinner service. He went beyond the regular bounds of a chef/ caterer and became a dear friend by checking in on us regularly leading up to the wedding and being more than accommodating with tasting sessions. Our decision to go with Rasan was only reaffirmed when our venue coordinator decided to spend the entire night on-site to taste his food yet again. We could talk for days about all the awards and accolades that Surjit's catering has received, but at the end of the day, it's his personality, humor, and commitment to detail that made it impossible to go with anyone else. We would recommend Rasan whole-heartedly and personally guarantee that when he says he will "cook with his heart", he absolutely 100% means it. We can't wait to taste his food again!
