Sushi World - Macquarie Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Sydney

Had grilled salmon for the first time from sushi world and was very disappointed, when ever I eat sushi I always have grilled salmon so I have gotten very familiar with the flavour and what to expect, I decided to try the grilled salmon at sushi world and as soon as I took a bight I felt that its very plain and lacked flavour, I even had my co worker try it and she wasn't impressed either, im not sure what it was but it was not satisfactory compared to very other time I've had it at all different kinds of sushi restaurant, and by the way the peice of salmon was very small and thin on all of the pieces. The lady questioned me as if I've never had sushi before, im no chef by any means but I've eaten grilled salmon long enough to know if it tastes below average. Ordered a large chicken katsu poke bowl. I do understand how busy it gets during a Sunday lunch time, so I didn't say anything but waited patiently for 25 mins for my poke bowl to be done. But I got seriously upset when I opened it and was ready to dig in. Only half bowl of salad covered with 5 thinly sliced chicken katsu! By looking at the portion, the salad size for a large poke is exactly the same as a regular sized poke bowl. I saw a review from other ppl by saying that there are only 3 pieces of chicken in a regular sized poke bowl...pathetic! That's how you cut cost and mislead public?! If that's the case, don't even bother to show any picture on your menus then! Which clearly shows a full piece of chicken katsu on your bowl! Will NEVER...

I thought they were friendly until I went at discount hour. I asked if I could get the advertised discount on my order and they tried to sell me more. I explained to them I am a single woman 2 boxes would be too much for me and the man said to me “you not feeling hungry tonight?”. I felt totally ignored - what single woman could eat two whole boxes?! They refused to provide the discount on a one person quantity. I can never benefit from the discount if I have to buy a family sized order. I am just one person. The discount is not fair for me. At Chatswood they reduce it to $10 per box so I will be going there next time as I can buy...
