Looking for a quick lunch a few days ago I stumbled across Sushi Wow. I must have walked passed this restaurant many times.
This place can be busy however about thirds full when I walked in they quickly allocated me a spot on the food conveyor.
I am suspicious of the freshness and food temperature of many of these style of food outlets. The conveyor was well stocked, and I could see good demand as well as two chefs working away in full view restocking. Their careful carving of large pieces of sashimi tuna was interesting to watch.
As I had limited time I stuck to the plates going around. I enjoyed them all. Their miso soup was much better than many having good flavour and texture. Four plates and miso for just under $20 was very reasonable.

Plates of sushi were stacked incorrectly and fell on me from the conveyor belt, covering me in soy sauce, condiments, etc. The chefs facing me didn’t bat an eyelid and I was not offered a paper towel by staff members. I wasn’t even checked up on despite my pants being ruined 🥲 (genuinely drenched, the soy sauce bottle went all over them). There was no apology and I was expected to pay full price for everything, including a half eaten plate that I had started but had fallen on the floor when other plates from the conveyor belt toppled. I just didn’t appreciate the service and lack of sincerity from the staff and chefs. Food was nice enough but I don’t think I’ll be back here...

For a sushi-lover I'm not big on seafood so my pic is the chicken avocado nigiri or the karaage chicken. My better half loves the scallops and salmon and the sashimi is always fresh and delicious (so she says). Plates are generous and reasonably priced; we usually get about four each and we never pay more than $35 for dinner. Since our first time we remain wowed anew with each visit; can't recommend...
