Thai Elephant PADSTOW — Restaurant in Sydney

Ok I'm not one to write reviews because who has the time? But my initial experiences with Thai Elephant which is just down the road from my house were great. Great service and food. However, recently the food is going downhill. Off chicken??? Off beef??? It's been 3 times now that either the chicken or beef has a sour after taste to it and believe me, I KNOW when something is off. Third time around and I am done! My mum's chicken curry (during the lunch time special) was off and she came off sick and on the toilet for an hour. Honestly not worth it all and not risking my food being off again. My theory is that they keep the lunch time left overs and serve to customers who just make the lunch time cut - I'm sorry for finishing Uni at 2:30??? Does it mean my food has to be served sourly? We have been long time customers of this restaurant. Their curries are delicious and the Pad Kee Maow had a really nice chilli kick. Great satay and massaman. I like the fact the food has kick too it- more authentic than some of the too sweet / no bite curries of other places. We can cook a great curry ourselves- we know what is fresh and what isn't. 3/3/2020 Today I came to here first time, I ordered Tom yum soup,Thai fried rice and Thai salad it’s so disappointing everything is too sweet!! I cannot imagine how many sugar that they put in the foods.. because normally I’ve been to many places Thai restaurants in Sydney and I really love Thai food but This is not original Thai...
