We ordered Calzone Napoli and Diavola. I was not really happy about the type of salami inside my calzone, I think it had a too strong taste and my friend, even if he likes spicy, he said his pizza, besides the hot salami, was way too spicy. But I think pizzas were well made and we just got unlucky with our choices. There’s a good variety of pizzas and I’m sure we would have enjoyed the others. The place was busy but it’s not that big, and 3 waiters seemed not enough. They kept walking close to our table but they took our order after long time, and 2 tables close to us had their pizzas before us, even if those families came in after. The young waiter was very polite and I can tell he was giving his best trying to do a good job, but in general the situation seemed chaotic and instead of relax eating my pizza, they gave me stress and anxiety for the way they were working. We were almost about to ask if they needed some help! In conclusion I think it’s not a bad place, they also make half metre pizzas and 1 metre pizzas, and even their Tagliere Salumi e Formaggi on another table looked really good. I think we just have been a bit unlucky and when we left they apologised, so I guess they know they had some problem to manage the evening.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at That’s Amore in Haberfield, and it was an extraordinary experience. The food here is truly exceptional, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that make each dish a delightful culinary journey. The staff are not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, providing top-notch service that adds to the overall enjoyment. The atmosphere at That’s Amore is nothing short of amazing, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. I can confidently say that the food deserves a solid 10 out of 10, and the service matches that rating as well. Whether you’re a small family or a large group, this restaurant caters to all with excellence. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to That’s Amore – it’s a gem in Haberfield that shouldn’t be missed. If you’re seeking a dining experience that’s 10 out of 10 in every aspect, this is the place to be.” Sonia, Adriana, Davide and Eller Thank you

Had dinner with friends at That’s Amore in Haberfield and I’m still dreaming about the Paccheri Pistacchio e Burrata. Hands down the best pistachio pasta I’ve ever had! The flavour of the pistachios came through beautifully—rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced with the creaminess of the burrata. The pasta itself was soft, delicate, and clearly made with care. It’s one of those dishes that makes you pause mid-conversation just to savour it. We also tried the beef ragu and penne vodka, both solid and delicious, but honestly, I was completely distracted by the pistachio perfection. By the end of the night we were so full we were practically rolling out of the place—still grabbed a pizza to go though, because how could you not? The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. Such a cute little gem tucked away in the heart of Haberfield. Can’t wait to come back!

this restaurant was recommended to my partner and i multiple times, we have been back twice this weekend. we were served by Chiara, her service was immaculate and her manners were excellent.

responding to a bad review (dan buffalo) the delivery drivers coming to pick up orders were standing right on top of my parter and i’s table while we were trying to eat, the pizza chef kindly asked him to move multiple times and he would not take this for an answer. Secondly the driver had music blasting out of his phone while waiting for the order and did not turn it off when asked as it was disturbing customers including us. Again he was KINDLY asked multiple times and still would not listen, this is when the chef became frustrated which is understandable.

The owner of this restaurant was very kind and interactive with his customers, walking around checking on how everyones food was and if they needed anything else. On multiple occasions i overheard the owner checking in with staff to see how everything was coming along on a very busy saturday night, this shows how much care they put into their service, customers and staff.

The chefs making the pizza were so kind as to not only check in with my partner and i but also other customers to see if we were enjoying our food and service.

My partner and i would highly recommend this restaurant, the service was amazing, the quality of the food was perfect and the price point is affordable.

Thank you to Chiara who mainly served us tonight and all of the other staff who also made our dining experience great tonight.

Madison and Xavier, we will...

Nice enough food however service was slow and we had to ask several times for the rest of our meal. The waiter appeared confused and took several goes to get the right number of plates and forks to our table. We requested drinks menu and they never came back for our order so we didn’t bother ordering a second round. Sadly the excuse that some staff don’t speak English is a pretty poor excuse for poor service. The owner did come to the party with a small bill discount however our party of eight will never return nor recommend to others.

Further to this review and reply by the business owner we wish to point out we have no problems with Italians or any other race of people. The young waiter was very pleasant but did take several goes to produce the right number of forks to the table. We apologise if he needs psychological help and in no way did we want to contribute to his health issues. We would also like to point out that for the $45 a head menu the four (initially three as we had to ask many times for the rest of our food) tiny plates of pasta did not represent good value for money. However the lovely antipasto tray had us excited for the rest of our meal. We were just very disappointed with the whole experience.

Further to your further comment. We were a table of EIGHT people and were given three small bowls of pasta not five. We were told a fourth bowl was coming however had to ask several times, before it arrived. We gave ample time as other tables were served, ate their meal and left before we asked again. Anyway we are putting this experience behind us and...
