An incredibly delicious rice bowl spot in a cute alley with reasonable prices? Whats not to love?

I got the black pepper beef bowl and it was excellent! The beef was well seasoned and tender to bite into, the onsen egg perfectly cooked so the yolk had a beautiful orange runniness to it that added richness to the beef and rice. Every bite was incredible.

If you are by Kings cross, grab a bowl! I probably will grab another on my trip

Update: i went back to try the wagyu beef rendang and it was another banger! Delicious, savory, sweet, good proportion of stew/curry to rice. The pickled veggies added a nice crunch and tanginess. Really excellent meal...

Modern Asian food with a twist.. Amazingly delicious Asian dishes served in an eco friendly packaging - with most friendly service. I first had their wagyu beef rendang last week and had been thinking about it all week, and bought another set today and two more for friends coming over for lunch! Truly amazing, tender with right sauce and "wetness", and complimented well with the pickled cucumber and small potato cubes.. Heavenly! Owned by two lovely Indonesian guys with great energy and love! Would be my regular eating haunt from now on.. PS. Their music salmon, karaage bao and titanium are also out of this world!! Go try...

Went to buy a bunch of sides to share with 6 members of my household, and was told that “you must buy a main, to buy sides”. Clearly a pretty thoughtless policy, especially when business is supposedly right during the pandemic. Clearly these guys don’t need customers to support them so don’t bother with this place.

Staff literally saying to other staff members “that’s weird I haven’t heard that before” in front of me - why such poor and thoughtless...
