Disclaimer - I am writting this review for the family who ran this place up until (roughly) mid 2021. i have not been back since so im not sure if their standard has been up held.

Best pizza resteraunt in sydney hands down. Number 1! i used to live upstairs from them, close enough to smell the woodfire oven if we left our apartment windows open. me and the misses ate here on average twice a week for about three years straight. once we had it four times in one week, just saying. we quickly became farmiliar with the people running the place and they were always so warm and welcoming. the man who worked the oven never said a word. not once. he was completely dedicated to the oven and so focused. respect. we were very sad when they told us they were moving back to italy. i really hope the people who took over have taken on the enormous job of maintaining their reputation. In all honesty im afraid to go back just in case its not the same. i cant bring myself to do so. thank you so much for all the memories and godbless...

You can consistently expect to have a great time at Pizza Boccone. The staff are exceptionally friendly and pleasant. The atmosphere at the restaurant is spot on. And the pizza is just wow. I've had Italian friends and family, who grew up in Italy, say that this was some of the pizza (if not the best) pizza they've ever had. I came here with my partner and her brother. I had a particularly tough day at work and was expecting to have a quick pizza and go home exhausted. But the experience at Pizza Boccone was so refreshing, that it completely turned my day around. When I bit into that pizza, I felt genuinely happy. It's that good! In my opinion, this is THE BEST PIZZA in all of Sydney. The wonderful staff is a nice bonus. I'll definitely be coming back again and again.
