Sweethearts Terraza — Restaurant in Sydney

The bar downstairs is decent enough, but it was really the rooftop I went to see. I wasn't disappointed. Once you have climbed the five flights of stairs to earn yourself an extra drink, you will immediately see that the rooftop is big and looks great. Not as wide a range of beers on the pumps as there is downstairs but still decent enough, including craft beers. There is an awning that can be moved across if it gets too hot and sunny, plus there are parasols at each of the tables positioned directly in the sun. Decent lunchtime deals during the week. I have since been in on a weekend evening and I can say that the experience is just as good, maybe a little better because of the night time atmosphere and much less chance of catching too much sunshine. We booked a table for 14 people for a birthday for a 3 hour time frame, we arrived on time with 6 of us and the rest of the table arriving 10-15 minutes after us. While seated waiting for the rest of the table, we were harassed multiple times from the manager on duty who kept asking multiple times when everyone else would be arriving even after we confirmed multiple times they would be arriving shortly.

We also received very rude and disrespectful comments such as ‘I turned customers away for you’, over the course of waiting for the rest of the table to arrive.

We got assigned 2 seperate tables and when asked politely if it was okay if we could join them together, we received a comment of ‘no but okay’.

Drinks and food were average but the service we received from the manager was quite poor. Will not be going back here again...

We had a birthday party at Sweethearts Rooftop and I cannot recommend this place and team more highly. A fun night was had by all and my daughter has wonderful memories of the night. Bec Michel, Functions and Event Manager made the organisation simple and she answered every query promptly and efficiently. The bar and catering team on the night ensured the night ran smoothly. Food servings were generous and delicious and the staff were great at explaining what they were handing out . The DJ was open to requests even though I suspect they were not his usual style of music!
