PMC Persian Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

I have ordered from PMC restaurant on multiple occasions, hoping for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently disappointing. Each time I placed an order, I encountered various issues that have left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

One recurring problem is receiving the wrong food. It's incredibly frustrating to eagerly open a delivery only to find out that the order is incorrect. I called the restaurant to report the issue, and their response was far from satisfactory. The person I spoke to merely apologized and said that her mother had forgotten to include the missing items. However, no effort was made to rectify the situation by sending the missing items or providing a refund.

This lack of responsibility and accountability is deeply concerning. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and reliability, which sadly seems to be absent at PMC. It's disheartening to feel like my concerns are not being addressed and that I am being treated with indifference.

Came here out of curiosity as had never visited a Persian restaurant before & was in the area. The food in front of the people at the tables all looked amazing - big tick for presentation. Lady at counter was very kind and directed me to the pictorial menu. She asked if it was my first time with Persian (I was taking a while to decide) and when I said yes she smiled and said "welcome". I picked vaziri and was very happy with my choice. It had a beef and chicken kebab, 2 roast tomatoes, dill-infused yoghurt sauce, lemon, fresh mint, and mound of saffron rice - it both looked amazing and was delicious. Portion big enough to split with a companion (or for one very hungry person). Definitely want to return to try more dishes! Update: returned for a Saturday lunch, cafe was not busy so plenty of tables. Food was amazing again - great presentation, large portions, tasty. Ordered a dill-infused rice dish with lamb neck. There is also an option for lamb shank instead of neck on the menu. Very soft, meat came right off. Also ordered another dish with 3 mixed kebabs, and I just love the roasted tomatoes. I recently visited PMC Persian Restaurant in Parramatta with my extended family, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality, feeling like part of the family in this wonderful family-run restaurant. The atmosphere was lively, upbeat, and incredibly inviting.

The food was truly exceptional – each dish outdid the last. We ordered a variety, and everything from the meat and chicken, perfectly fresh and spiced, to the saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, and chili, was crafted to perfection. Every bite tasted like it was made with love. And the serving sizes are epic; they don’t skimp on size! We ordered four mains between the seven of us and still had enough to take home. The wait staff guided us through the menu while ordering and really went the extra mile to make sure we were well catered for.

Parking was plentiful, service was quick, and every staff member was super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We finished the meal with traditional tea, hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted.
