We used to love dining at this place for their authentic North Indian food, but unfortunately, things have changed for the worse. Last Thursday, I dined in with my husband, and we were extremely disappointed. The new girl staff served us Gobi Manchurian, which tasted nothing like it used to and the portion size was much smaller than what we typically received. When we brought it up, the staff member casually mentioned that there’s a new chef and “that’s the only way Manchurian is made.” Her dismissive attitude made it worse, as she walked away without addressing our concerns. To make matters worse, the chef was standing behind the counter, watching us. When it was time to pay, I asked if the issue was resolved, and the old chef quickly left the scene as though avoiding responsibility. The poor attitude from both the staff and the chef completely ruined our dining experience. A new chef may have different skills, but basic courtesy and professionalism should never be compromised. We won’t be returning, and it’s disappointing to see one of our favourite places take such a drastic turn...

Seeing all the good reviews, we've decided to have a dinner there last night, and as we wanted to try as many dishes as we could, we have ordered the banquet for 2 - $40 per person. For that you get a lot! of food to try. More than you can eat actually :) you can ask for extra rice or naan if needed... and the naan is the best we've ever tried! it is just perfectly fluffy and smell like fresh butter just OMG. We had multiple entrees to share, dessert and 4 different curries - all of them VERY good, fresh and fragrant. I can't choose which one was the best, but if you'll go with safe butter chicken - you won't be disappointed! Moreover all people working there were absolutely lovely and we just had a really good time! Restaurant itself is pretty new and it is very clean. It's not a fancy space, but considering this amazing food and price point I don't mind that at all. We had gone on the 16th of Dec, 2021 around evening. The server was incredibly sweet and polite, she was patient with our order and very open to the questions we had.

The food was amazing and the service was quick. We had gotten gulmohar chow mein, it was large in quantity, not oily and was great to share amongst 4 people. Black Dal Bukhara, was good we had asked for it to be spicy but it was a good spice and very flavourful. Charred Smoked Eggplant Bhartha was good, it was slightly spicy and oily but it tasted amazing. Paneer Khurchan was just great, the paneer was large in size and quantity,t he gravy was sweet and creamy. The tandoori whole roti was nice in size and flavour.

We had also gotten mango and pista kulfi after asking the server if it was homemade and it was. The kulfi really reminded us of home in India, it was amazing.
