One of the very best cafes in all of Sydney, with an incredible barista pouring your morning coffees, guaranteed to be smooth every time. Located on the corner of a busy road, this simple & stylish cafe is the perfect place to stop for breakfast/brunch. Their menu lists the breakfast classics, with a few unique additions that really make this place worth the trip. If you’re looking for a simple breakfast, the eggs are always scrambled to perfection, served with good quality toasted bread, a great meal to go with your cappuccino. The eggs benny is warm & refreshing, with a beautifully creamy hollandaise, I recommend trying with the smoked salmon. The pistachio labni is the standout dish on the menu for me. Boasting with flavour from every element, it’s the essential pick for when you’re not sure if you want hot or cold, because of the creaminess & strong flavours. I added sujuk, & it really just took it to another level. Lastly, FINALLY a cafe with comfy chairs. You can actually sit comfortably & enjoy a well made breakfast, & a perfectly brewed coffee. Customer service is exceptional, can’t fault it. 10/10 recommend.

English breakfast not cooked properly, flavourless, and bland. Coming from Melbourne known as the city with the BEST brunches this english breakfast or big breakfast tastes terrible …. as soon as I saw the bacon I’m like that isn’t cooked fully, the hash browns don’t even look brown and when I tasted it it was like half cooked, not crispy. Also the mushroom, when I took a bite it was still raw 😳 the middle hasn’t been fully cooked. The tomato, oh man it was like not even cooked as well, it’s like just heated on microwave. Toast tastes like something you can buy from cole’s. I’m not sure, but I think the kitchen was rushing because we arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing, but we have 30 mins to dine. The photo below shows the mushroom still hard. Only nice thing was registered staff was friendly. I don’t know how this place is rated 4.5+ above to begin with but it’s just average based on my experience.

First edit: Loved the vibe, super friendly staff and yum food!! staffs are actually super accommodating and offered to help a couple times (swap coffee as i forgot to order it in plant milk, got super sunny and asked us if we wanna swap seats etc). definitely coming back!! (plus they’re halal🫶🏼) Second Edit: safe to say they're my favourite brunch spot rn. food is top tier as always, but the coffee are really not that great. As someone who gets chai everywhere (im too sensitive for coffee😭), this is one of those chais that taste nasty (iykyk). but the food gon hit every time ‼️‼️so that's fine i'll just order a smoothie in the future

This barista absolutely deserves every one of these five stars and then some! From the moment I walked up to the counter, their genuine enthusiasm and warm smile immediately set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional experience. They took the time to really listen to what I was after, offering thoughtful suggestions about topping combinations that would work perfectly together, and even sharing insights about which flavours complement açaí best. Their attention to detail was remarkable - every topping was carefully portioned and artfully arranged, creating not just a delicious treat but something that looked absolutely Instagram-worthy. What really impressed me was their knowledge of the menu and willingness to customise my order exactly how I wanted it, whilst maintaining perfect efficiency even during the busy period. They clearly take pride in their craft, ensuring the açaí was the perfect consistency and temperature, and that each topping was fresh and high quality. Beyond the technical skills, their friendly conversation and genuine care for customer satisfaction made the whole experience feel personal rather than transactional. This level of service excellence - combining technical expertise, attention to detail, genuine friendliness, and obvious passion for what they do - is exactly what transforms a simple açaí bowl purchase into a memorable experience that keeps customers coming back. Absolutely outstanding service that sets the gold standard for customer...

Went in for brunch on 10/07/2022 at 1pm. Ordered a beef burger and there was a dead bug and a live bug on the lettuce inside the burger. They replaced my meal (which I asked for a takeaway) and didn’t charge for the burgers but don’t think I would be back to this place.

Please ensure you are serving your clients fresh food, it’s the least you can do.

(replying to owners response)

Next time when responding to a review just reassure your customers that you are going to take extra care on food handling instead of dragging other uninvolved parties into the discussion.

I chose to come to your cafe as I want to support a small business. When and if I go to woolies and get a burger with bugs in the lettuce I shall leave a review there but as of now I am yet to experience such. Please do not jump into conclusions on what I will do when a similar experience happens from woolies. Bringing woolies into your response is really not necessary as this review is based on my experience from your cafe and unfortunately it wasn’t the best for me.

Furthermore, changing of suppliers should not be an issue/excuse as I believe food handling standards should remain up top and the priority for a cafe/restaurant to ensure the customers are satisfied with their meals.

I was clear on my review and did not hide the fact that you did not charge me for the burger and gave me a new one which was good.

All the best in...
