Disgusting!! Place should be shut down or fined by the health authorities.

We came in on Saturday, looking at all the variety of chorizo in the display, when asked what meat the sausages are, the girl laughed and answered "i don't know". I asked her if she could find out and plainly said NO. That's fine, personally I don't mind what meat it was, as I can eat it, but I have a kid with allergies, so I have to watch what we serve him.

I then looked at the normal thin sausages, which looked very white, as if they were pork. I asked what are they and she said BEEF, so I bought siz of them.

When I got home to cook them, the 'beef' sausages had a funny smell, still, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, as being an Asian butcher, some of their meat does tend to smell 'funny' depending on what they put in it, herbs, spices, etc. But the smell got worse and worse as they were around. I squeezed one sausage for the meat to come out and I smelt it closely, it was rancid!! It was so bad, I couldn't get the smell off my hand.

Again, being the 'gullible' person I am, I thought no, they must be pork, hence the smell, so I fried them up in the fry pan. The kitchen and the dining room STILL smell, three days later!! They were off, that's why they were white!! I cant even begin to describe how rancid the smell was, and even when cooked, they smelt horrible.

Avoid Ho Ho Butchery in Marrickville at all costs!! Next time I will go on purpose and buy their off products and make sure I return them and...

My local butcher. They have a great selection of very delicious chorizo in South American and Spanish style (both crowd pleasers) and a delicious chicken chorizo which is probably my favourite. They will cut you a pork belly to the size you like. It’s great meat and I make Porchetta with it. They also sell delicious Picanha, all of their prices are reasonable and the family are very nice, friendly and hard working....

Quality meat and good service. Bought marinated bbq skewers (nem nuong) and ribeye steak for my birthday party. The staffs were happy to help and told me their meats are freshly cut daily; I was quite cynical at first as it was an Asian butcher after all, however, after asking my family and friends about what they thought, they all complemented that it was fresh and well marinated. Will make this my local...
