Officially my most favourite cafe in ALL of Sydney. I have travelled to Warren and Holt 4 days in a row (its half an hour from home) JUST for their incredible salted caramel smoothie.. that is how good it is. Oh and the new winter menu, WOW. The roasted vegetable bowl with the delicious buckwheat is SO fresh and cooked to perfection, and the avocado toast I think its called Warren smash comes with this yummy beetroot relish that I can never get enough of, OH and I almost forgot the sweet potato chippies with HOMEMADE TOMATO KETCHUP! (which I tried to recreate at home but failed!). My boyfriend loves the bae roll too, especially after a big night! The staff is also what makes Warren and Holt stand out from the others. They are all SO FRIENDLY. Always so happy to see you, remember your order, are never bothered by my fussy requests! Special thankyou to the lovely lady with brown hair and the friendly barista with blonde guy who are always working and also to Amy (Im pretty sure I remembered that right) who makes my smoothie to perfection everytime and today came to deliver my smoothie to me outside and pat my doggies! Youre all wonderful and I wanted to write this review to say I really appreciate it...

Do yourself a favor, and give this place a miss. Coffee was ok, but not memorable. Over priced and underwhelming. Warren and Holt. I had heard so many good things and drooled at their Instagram account for months. But the actual experience differs greatly to the shiny world of social media. We arrived and sat for 10 minutes wondering if they had table service or not. We were one of only two tables during a quiet Monday mid morning. Eventually I went up and got a menu myself. We sat at an unwiped table and eventually the waitress noticed we were there. I had the Eggs Gone Wild, and boy that was an accurate description. A meal of good intentions had literally gone wild to a point of disillusion as it tried so hard to be “out there” and creative. What resulted was a fail dish where the elements of goats cheese with chive, a sad green flavorless omelette, fresh tomatoes, dried out cucumbers that were obviously cut hours ago all drizzled in a depressing green bland salad dressing. My fiancé had bacon and eggs, which was good, at least they didn’t mess that classic up. Healthy food CAN taste amazing. This place just missed the...

EXPENSIVE coffee & food, but not worth the price!

I asked for & paid extra for a strong coffee (3 shots), but what I received was not strong, just a normal shot.

Coffee was "Large" but tall skinny cup, which would be equivalent to a small cup.

The taste of the coffee was below ordinary. If I had time that morning, I would have returned it to the store.

The cabinet food had been refrigerated overnight or quite possibly, a couple of days.

Amazing to me how they think customers cannot tell how fresh the food is. Customers are not ignorant to quality & freshness!

Plus like the coffee, the food was totally overpriced.

I also had a negative experience with an Asian barista, whom was quite abrupt, rude & unwelcoming.

For these prices you would expect a friendly & professional service with near perfect food.

I am quite willing to pay for quality, fresh & tasty food/coffee. But unfortunately this is not the case.

Very bad experience, will...

I had such a lovely experience at Warren & Holt 🤗 Their chicken congee is absolutely wonderful – comforting and flavourful. The drizzle of chilly oil also added just the right amount of heat and depth, giving the dish a subtle kick without overpowering its flavour. The roasted potatoes on the side were a real highlight, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, making the meal extra special. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are welcoming, which made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again for this dish – highly recommend if you’re looking for something hearty and delicious!

This is a cute little light filled trendy cafe in Marrickville. Service is friendly and prompt. I love eating whole foods and eating healthy. I had been keen to go here for ages. We checked out the menu online but when we got there, it wasn’t as per the online menu, so I was disappointed that what I had wanted wasn’t available so I just ordered eggs on toast. We also ordered the healthy bowl that didn’t seem that healthy at all. Needed fresh salad or greens with it. They do have good coffee and a good range if smoothies too.

Way overpriced and left off some key ingredients. I'm normally a fan of their food. Usually get the Mr Holt burger but decided for a change today. This is the Reuben Sandwich on GF bread. It was the smallest sandwich (granted the GF loaf is very small compared to the usual bread they use) but the fillings were very light on and missing the slaw. This is a $16 take away sandwich, I understand cafes have had it hard through COVID but I can get a fabulous sandwich from Bourke St Bakery for $11.50.
