Thought this was a great place... Seemingly good atmosphere, actually good coffee but after three consecutive days of working there in the morning and ordering multiple drinks during my stay (rent for workspace, really) I was forced to move where I would have to sit with my phone and laptop up against a stand of thongs and in my lap because the (empty all but one other table) restaurant needed to have one of its bigger tables open mid-morning and me not taken up. I worked in small places in hospitality and I understand not wanting a party of one sitting at a table for four but I was conscious that the cafe never lost a party of people because of lack of space and I was still awkwardly moved. (Also, the first day I left when a party that would have wanted my table came in looking for a space). I want more cafes in Australia to catch up with Europe and N. America and make space for people working from cafes and restaurants rather than a cubicle. For the most part, these people are your friends not your enemies. (spent at least $50 over a couple days just on coffee, maybe not a table of four's worth of revenue but they definitely never lost that...

For lunch first stop, we ordered the Cure brekky wrap, Avo on Toast, and the Green Machine juice
Tucked away behind the main walkways in the alleyway
The initial service was great Unfortunately they ran out of the milk bun for the Cure brekky just before midday already (limited numbers, how limited by volume, not sure)
Another customer who ordered after us, same Cure brekky wrap and Berries juice, somehow got theirs before us and another table who ordered at least 5 minutes later also received their juice and coffees and food before us
Asked one of the wait staff ten minutes after ordering, checking on why two orders before us were made before ours, their response was, because our order is slightly different and will take longer
Avo on Toast doesn't require longer than a brekky wrap, let alone on arrival, the edge of the bread was burnt and the supposedly soft middle was hard. A knife was provided but was more for kids (? Has pictures of a baby giraffe) cute yes, for an adult to cut hard bread? Not really useful
Most comments here relate to their coffee, but most would be more interested in...
Read moreExcellent service, coffee and atmosphere. There are many local cafes with transient customers, Sneaky Grind is a cafe that has a community feel about it.
You see people going there day after day with their dogs, kids, and friends, inter-twining sneaky grind into their routine. When a place has such a regular customer base you know they're in it for the community and not just a quick buck.
Thanks for giving back to...
