We arrived not long before they were closing. They were no longer doing anything except take-away. This said, they welcomed us, moved a couple of stools outside so we could sit, and took our order. They were really friendly. We both had Tradie Wraps, essentially egg, bacon, sausage and a hash brown in a wrap. Yum and also very filling. Note: because of the fact we came before it was shutting we didn’t really get the chance to experience its ambience, hence the 3 rating for atmosphere as we don’t know what it usually is like.

really enjoyed fruit granola bowl here! very sweet and fresh melons and cantaloupe were matched with greek yogurt, delicious granola, as well as apple and strawberries. i never had this combination with melons and it was perfectly refreshing and summery. the café is very cosy, quiet and green. i felt quite welcome and was treated with warmth and kindness, which made a great lunch break away from the buzz, can't even tell that there is a noisy highway nearby. would recommend stopping by for brunch and coffee!

LOVED this cafe. Very sweet staff and cute interior with outdoor seating too. The food was filling and delicious, and the coffee was just what I needed. The cafe is situated on a quieter street, which was nice. Good variety in food and drink options. Recommended!

I visited The Twelve Cafe on New Year’s Day as it was thankfully one of the few Cafes open.

The food and ambience were terrific. There appeared to be minimal indoor seating, but more abundant outdoor seating, which is perfect if the weather is nice. It definitely seems to be a favourite spot amongst locals, and we could see why, given the satisfying portions and affordable prices. It is to be noted that they do charge a 15% public holiday fee.

During my visit I ordered a smoothie and the Tradie Wrap, with halloumi on the side, and my friend ordered a Flat White and the Halloumi Roll, most of which arrived relatively quickly. Unfortunately, after receiving our food, my smoothie had not yet arrived, so I asked a waiter, who headed into the kitchen to inquire, but did not return with an update. A while later, I asked the staff member at the ordering counter about my smoothie, and she was quite brusque, blaming me by saying that they had called out my smoothie but no one had collected it. It astounds me that I was expected to pick up my drink at the counter when the rest of my food, and my friend’s coffee, was delivered to the table. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I imagine that this was a mistake that occurred due to them being understaffed on a public holiday, however it did dampen my...

Does anyone know how to make a hot coffee/capuccino anymore? When you ask for a capuccino to be "very hot", do you expect it to come out just above warm? Do you expect it to taste weak?

If I'm going to pay $4-5 for coloured water, I do expect it to be hot and strong. Alas, not from Twelve. And not from Deus just up the road, which I gave up on years ago.

Surely a barista worth his/her salt should know how to use a coffee machine properly...presumably that's why you get the certificate. Sadly, in my eperience, not. Only about 1 in 10 do. The rest just go through some sort of...

I was only there for a quick morning drink - matcha latte. The place looked quite cosy. Staff were friendly. Matcha latte was nice enough. Had the matcha taste, but not strong enough for me. Texture was on the thin side. The sweetness level was just right for me, which is to say none - other than that inherrent in the milk. So you could taste the hint of bitterness of the matcha. I liked it that it was actually hot (temperature) - most places do it just warm. But towards the end of the cup, there was the residual, clumpy powder. Anyway,,...
